I have never seen anyone on a you tube pull such perfect carrotts. This was a lovely video with the children’s voices in the background and the music. The Lancaster valley is some of the prettiest part of PA and your farm does it Gods glory. 😊
Thank you, Jean! 🫶🏼 we are so grateful to be here! And the tip to perfect carrots is pouring boiling water over the seeds after planting 😉 (learned that years ago from my mom’s gardening book - no clue what the science is behind it 😅)
I was going to ask the same thing. I just googled it and it said that the boiling water pre-sprouts them earlier to get them going because their seed coats are so hard! 😀👏🥕👩🌾
Love love looooove All your videos, I’ve been a homemaker for 38yrs and I absolutely love it, it’s my calling and my passion to cook home cooked meals, do my chores, and serve my husband! The children are all married but when they visit with the grandkids it’s just more delightful ❤ thank you for your encouraging videos for all young and old such a blessing!
Love your videos - do you have a link to your apron? And, lastly - what is the yummy looking sauce for the pork balls/rice/veggie meal? YUMMM. You’re such a delight…you make me excited for my daughter and daughter in laws to look forward to their homemaking lives with joy and contentment.
Absolutely beautiful! This is how I cook for my family, and I feel like we’re kindred spirits. We can cheer each other on for God’s glory from my state of WA to PA! We know we don’t just feed our family when we cook like this but we are actually serving the Lord in our hospitality. ❤I will teach you a tip that made chopping so much easier for me!….. whatever vegetable you’re chopping, before you fine chop it, put it on its flat side so it’s not rocking when you chop it. I saw the carrots were on their curvy side when you chopped them. Keeps your fingers safer, too, as the cuts are more precise. 😀🩷🌻👏
Thanks for the inspiration! We ate like this when I was a child and am planning on passing it on to my family someday. Thank you so much for your time and energy to make videos for us. You always inspire me so much, to keep my home and to be kind and to serve others. Your love for the Lord shines through every word you speak. That's what inspires me the most.
Hi Stephanie! I have enjoyed your channel so much as a Christian wife and new stay-at-home mom! I’ve been making yogurt for some time now and also don’t have an Instant Pot with a yogurt setting. After testing out different ways of making it, I ran across Pioneer Woman’s guide to making it, and it changed everything! Just like sourdough where the warmer your home is, the faster your starter will rise, yogurt seems to work the same way. Instead of keeping it at the optimal temperature that an Instant Pot with the yogurt setting would, you can actually just follow the same steps (pasteurizing the milk, cooling it, then introducing the culture), then just leave it on the counter. It’ll take longer to ferment (mine has taken around 24-36 hours to set) since your home is cooler than 100-110 degrees Fahrenheit, but it still turns out incredibly creamy and delicious! To expedite the process, though, I put warm water (around 105 degrees Fahrenheit) in my instant pot, fill quart jars with my yogurt-culture mixture, then put the jars in the water and let it ferment for 8ish hours. I check the temperature occasionally and turn on the “Keep Warm” setting to heat the water if necessary. You can either just mix it up once it’s done in the jars they’re already in, or strain it and store it in a different container. The more I learn about natural fermentation, the more I am in awe of God’s creativity in His creation! God bless you and your beautiful family! ❤️
I just discovered your channel and am enjoying it. I love that we not only see home life, recipes etc but you always include the Lord and share with us. I also love the worship songs. I am an empty nester and life looks so different for me especially what and how much I make. Thank you!
I started pulling my broccoli heads apart from the bottom first and then cutting off any florets that would not go by the root instead of stem side and it has made a world of difference on mess! And wasted little green bits. Thanks for sharing your day! Such a lovely home and beautiful family who love Jesus!
I look forward to every video, speaking of homemade yogurt, back when we had a Jersey cow and it was yogurt making day I would take the culture( same as yours) out to the milkhouse, after the cow was milked the milk would then come to the milk house and strained into a stainless steel bucket I immediately put the culture into the warm milk stired it took it to the house poured it into quart jars and set it in the oven with the oven light on for overnight then put in fridge in the morning. Best ever yogurt!
This video is such a God send! I've been in such a cooking rut and feeling very discouraged about my cooking. I aspire to cook like this for my family and videos like this are so inspiring and encouraging! Could you share your granola recipe? Also do you have any cookbook suggestions that focus on foods like you showed here?
Hi Steph, what a beautiful video. You have inspired me to make a healthy meal tomorrow. Your choice of music in each video is perfection. Loved the last part of the video where you are all sitting in the field enjoying a wonderful family dinner.
You inspiring me every time I watch one of your videos, thanks!! Everything you made looks so Delicious and you are so Attention to detail, and the garden looks so beautiful and so does the farm. Eating outside was a perfect picture!!❤️❤️

Hey Steph, Can you tell me who your doctor was who helped you to overcome the mold in your body. I'm in that situation and don't have a doctor. Hopefully you doctor will do phone consultation because I live states away from you. And the product you get commission on not remembering the name of it. I would like to know where I can go to look at the ingredients label since I am sensitive to a lot of stuff. Thanks, Love watching you! Your my favorite youtuber.😊
Pigs are actually smarter than dogs, and just as social. In fact, pigs are said to be as smart as a 3 year old child. I don't want to rain on the parade here...but it's just disappointing to see that there are still people who are either unaware or apathetic when it comes to what they are actually eating.
I would love it if you had a playlist of all the lovely worship songs you always play in the background! They are so peaceful
