A big salute to the brave Raghida who was in great pressure from her family not to support Shahira in any form yet she favours her little friend. I think she not only help Shahida to bulid her life but she shaped her mind as well and this will really integrate in shahida's personality through out her life. I was in tears in between the documentary. Love from India

I agree with you, but the president used a chemical weapon that killed many innocent children and I am very sad about the children of my beloved country

What a beautiful story. It really shows what good we can do for the world by simply having compassion and doing what we can to help others in our community. I loved how Rhagida developed her friendship with Shahira and eventually changed her life in a profound way. It was interesting to see Rhagida's family's perspective on the matter, and to empathize with how they feel. I think it's easy to get caught up with what people say and then assume the worst in them, when we have really just failed to learn more about them. Overall what a beautiful documentary to see!

This is the most touching documental I ever saw. What a wonderful friendship. The world needs more human beings like this unique woman. Why the children of the world have to pay for our mistakes and the many endless wars they did not ask for?

Heartwarming story of love and forgiveness, we can all learn from. It brought tears in my eyes to see how the attention given a child can affect their future so profoundly. It was beautiful.

I'm glad Raghida helped Shahida, leaving aside the past.
In old times we all suffered on this earth because of war, the past is past, let's not forget to be and act like humans.
This story brought me to tears.

Raghida has done a great thing
These Syrians are enemy of none. They are just trying to live a somewhat normal life free of war and bombings.

This channel has 9.42 million subscribers. The video was posted 4 years ago and has only 16k views. This video deserves billion of views. RUclips promote negative stereotype stories of the Arab world. If Raghida was an American or European, this video would have gone viral as soon as it was posted.

I really would love to know how Shakira is now . Where she is and how is she progressing. I wonder how Shahira feels about the current crisis that Lebanon endures . And l wonder if Shahira has had opportunity to go back to Homs yet .. l must contact Al Jazeera and request an update if at all possible...

You can't blame the innocent civilians fleeing the same evil government that harmed you as well. All Syrians did was peaceful protest like even many western countries do at times my be not against their president but Assad could've used non lethal ways of breaking protest . Qadr Allah.

It would had been a good program if the Al Jazeera also told all these children that they and Saudi and Qatar funded the terrorist can came and destroy and divide they country to benefit the Israeli. So these children and their family should thank the Russian and Iranian from saving there country from the terrorist.

Gafari Ojo-oniyun you are a schizofren, asad lead by iran and russia killed the syrians. They already know because the father of asad already mistreated the syrians longgg before there was isis. You shias have no place in this world.
