Very Good information as they say "Nothing is FREE"

Yes, that's correct. And I've discovered that some of the products I chose to review have stopped working after 30 days and it is beyond the timeframe to return it back to Amazon.

You can't sell or give away the Vine products for 6 months...

Glad I live in Canada where we don’t pay taxes on Vine items. I’d leave the program if it wasn’t 100% free.

Thank you so much for the information, I’ve only been a vine contributor for a month and I’m glad I am stopping now.

You are most welcome. My first year, I ordered so much stuff it was just terrible how much and I had to pay those taxes. Sadly, it was on products that were not that great.

So what if I pay zero taxes because my income is not taxable, my only taxable income would be Amazon Vine? I should be good right? Cause I'd be in such a low tax bracket still? Like unless you hit a certain amount you don't have to pay right? Like I really want to do this but I'm just barely getting by on VA disability barely getting my property taxes paid every year so getting hit with a $600 bill would absolutely crush me
Edit: from the search I did what I was able to find is that there's a threshold of a little 14,000 that if you don't make that in a year then you don't have to pay federal income tax is this accurate?

You need to consult a professional tax advisor because losing your benefits over Vine is totally NOT worth it.

I just found an invite today....after doing a deep dive today on this thing.....yeah naw....I'm good. I'll just buy at normal price. It sounds like it's not worth the hassle.

Yup, It’s a lot of working reviewing all of these products and you’re still liable for taxes.

Vine members are still getting merchandise at a fraction of the retail value. If your taxable income is $52k then your actual income is significantly higher and $600ish isnt going to break you. The problem is people who don't do their research (like the girl on government assistance) and think they can actually get thousands of dollars of merchandise for free.
I am a vine member and I read the terms before joining. They spell it out for you so people who are caught unaware can only blame themselves. They even keep a running tally and an itemized list for you so you always know what youve received and can figure out the tax implications for your situation. It's not Amazon's fault if you don't.

Yes, that’s so true. In my experience, people don’t always read the fine print. That’s why RUclips videos can be a real lifesaver for individuals. It’s Good that you did your research. Even I made a big mistake thinking it was only a sales tax 😂😂😂 LESSON LEARNED!!! Never again! 🫢
