It's only a matter of time until Minecraft Lets Plays slow down. Personally, I'd like them to just stay as things to do videos. As much as I love these Lets Plays, they're getting a bit stale, and I'm sure the guys dread recording Minecraft each week. My hope is that Fridays turn back into a random Lets Play day, unfortunately I doubt the fans would agree. The thing I do love about these are that you can just put them on and it's a nice AH-podcast type deal, but that's why they have Sunday Driving :] Regardless, this episode was hilarious x3
I think that the main reason they continue to put them out is because every single minecraft let's play (i think except for Halloween part 2) has gotten over 1 million views.
That one guy it's because of the fans. You know how many fans crave minecraft over and over ever week and freak out if it's not uploaded. They upload it because they want to give the fans what they want. Im sure the 1 million views definitely helps, but it's because so many people ask for it. I enjoy the lets plays, the old ones of course more than recent, but it's so relaxing to put this on, and then just sink back into my bed and play halo at like 1am listening to them banter and tells tories haha

I think they should restart achievement city. I mean it would suck to loose everything, but having a clean slate would open up a lot more possibilities. Plus it would open up a lot more space for Matt and Jeremy to create new stuff while keeping everything in the same place. Plus remaking the houses would be a lot easier with creative mode. Which they could outsource to Matt and Jeremy if Geoff's feeling lazy.
I doubt they would ever restart Achievement City. Remaking their houses and the logo wouldn't be that hard, but with all the let's plays and things to do they have in that world it would take an insurmountable amount of time to remake it all.

So I was playing minecraft while watching this video. I was mining nether rack in the nether on a floating island. I broke a block, and there was nothing beneath it except a long fall to lava. The only reason I didn't fall was because at that exact moment, Ryan said "ah, lava!" Thank you for your service, Mad King.

Damn, I watched this whole Let’s Play trying to get a Diancie with a good nature by resetting my 3DS, and it wasn’t until the video ended that I finally got a Modest one. Thank God for Michael though! He was on fire this LP and made it hilarious along with everyone else, so the resetting wasn’t such a drag.
Fibbage knows not to repeat questions until you completely run out. You guys have a ton of consoles though and have all sorts of issues with transferring saves around. If you aren't using the same save then Fibbage won't know which questions you've seen. You guys should play Drawful, a new game from the same company. Every time I've played it with a group it's been incredibly funny.

So from what I gather, after part 3 of this we will probably get witch doctor finale and then its the big move of achievement city to next gen. Im also anticipating a christmas themed lets play like the Halloween one. Lets hope that gives some new life to this series as it has been a fantastic ride. I still enjoy these lets plays as I like listening to the "stories" the AH crew talk about, thats what makes them so good. A fresher world will make everything better.
I know people who like videos are less likely to comment, and also you should wait until the end of the video to comment/read the comments, but oh well. A fair amount of people are saying minecraft is getting stale/boring but i personally still find them interesting, and was wondering how many people feel the same way as me? And yes i have seen all the minecraft videos and pretty much the majority of roosterteeth videos (not bragging, just stating that because obviously if i hadn't watched them all there would be less chance of finding them boring). *facepalm* reading the comments every week and seeing stuff like "I wish they would stop playing minecraft, its no longer fun. its boring". they will keep making them as long as you keep watching. on youtube, views speak louder than words. because the words (the comments) are usually full of aids. so if you really want them to stop playing minecraft, you have to stop watching it. they will see people are no longer interested and move on. but you wont. you will come back every week, bitch about it and give them views.
You have to also take into consideration the fact that RUclips is not their only place to release videos, they have their own site that they upload into first which has a whole other group of fans. I normally watch here for convenience but from what I gather the RT/AH site has a much nicer fan base than RUclips.

I've been a fan since 2009 and loved everything they've put out but Minecraft is starting to feel stale. This is no hate or criticism but I feel they should take a hiatus from MC and do other games. The fresh content would be nice and I think they'll enjoy it more, especially Ray :)
Harry Woods I know man, I've seen it all and I feel bad for complaining about free and great content but it's getting a burnout. Just look at Ray and you can see why. He was a lot more vocal and excited in the earlier episodes. Now he's openly acknowledged it's getting tedious.
What this let's play really needed was a visual element for the progression. They could have turned a meal in to Geoff once they'd made it and have him give them a block/picture frame/whatever to place in their section to show that they'd completed that task.
What happened to the legit Minecraft games they used to create and play? I mean, now they have Matt, Jeremy, Lindsay, and Kdin working on the Let's Builds, so it shouldn't be too hard for them to just come up with an idea and have them build it, right? I would understand if Geoff and Gavin got tired of building new games, but now they have other people to do it for them. My favorite Minecraft Let's Plays have always been the ones that have been competitive, close, and succinct, like Clouds and Hot Foot. There have been too many conversational Lets Plays as of late, it's starting to get tedious. *TL;DR* Geoff and Gavin should propose ideas for games, like the good old days, except now they have the others build the games for them.
I know what you mean, my favourites were things like tower of Geoff, find the tower, build a tower, the ones where they fought and competed I'd like them to do a series of videos like the king series, but it would be the tower of Geoff again, but in the large Xbox one maps

After watching a video like this, I find it funny how they're making a channel that's appropriate for kids. Like one of the FAQs for the new channels was about it being a different channel and they were just like "We have to make a different channel for Game Kids because we don't want kids to be watching this and stumble on a Rage Quit." Like just imagine some kid watching a Game Kids video and then they come to this video where they talk about fucking food, milking Ryan's wife, getting things stuck in your dick, and a whole bunch of stuff that's wayyy too much for kids to hear.
So many comments on the front page that say "they should stop" or whatever... but this is one of the funniest one's in recent memory. Love it as usual.
If I played 132, 30 plus minutes of a game every Friday, i'd find it really boring as well. And let's face it the majority of us stick around not for game play, but for the commentary(which has been lacking!). And if your like me you stick around just hoping that they make another MC Let's play like they did when they first started playing(which I know will never happen, but that's why you have hope right?!). I say all this to say, I think it would be ok if you guys played a variety of different games on Fridays and through out the week. Just because something gets views does not mean that people are necessarily enjoying the content as they once did. My opinion though based on the quality of the videos(specifically minecraft)
I'd like to see her in a Minecraft LP also, but I'm sure she's in school during nearly the entire work day and there isn't enough time for her to participate by the time she's out, since filming these seems to take a really long time. Fibbage knows not to repeat questions until you completely run out. You guys have a ton of consoles though and have all sorts of issues with transferring saves around. If you aren't using the same save then Fibbage won't know which questions you've seen. You guys should play Drawful, a new game from the same company. Every time I've played it with a group it's been incredibly funny.

I love Gavin's and Ryan's talks. If given the option of eating an animal or fucking it Ryan goes with the smart choice and Gavin's inner idiot just loves to talk at those moments.
So from what I gather, after part 3 of this we will probably get witch doctor finale and then its the big move of achievement city to next gen. Im also anticipating a christmas themed lets play like the Halloween one.
Lets hope that gives some new life to this series as it has been a fantastic ride.
I still enjoy these lets plays as I like listening to the "stories" the AH crew talk about, thats what makes them so good.

A fair amount of people are saying minecraft is getting stale/boring but i personally still find them interesting, and was wondering how many people feel the same way as me? And yes i have seen all the minecraft videos and pretty much the majority of roosterteeth videos (not bragging, just stating that because obviously if i hadn't watched them all there would be less chance of finding them boring).
I'm currently 10 mins in and they've been laughing and having conversations without much silence pretty much the whole time. But yea... keep doing minecraft videos please :D

on youtube, views speak louder than words. because the words (the comments) are usually full of aids. so if you really want them to stop playing minecraft, you have to stop watching it. they will see people are no longer interested and move on.

You have to also take into consideration the fact that RUclips is not their only place to release videos, they have their own site that they upload into first which has a whole other group of fans. I normally watch here for convenience but from what I gather the RT/AH site has a much nicer fan base than RUclips.
I love the little twist at the end - it's nice to see something a little different occasionally.

I've been a fan since 2009 and loved everything they've put out but Minecraft is starting to feel stale. This is no hate or criticism but I feel they should take a hiatus from MC and do other games. The fresh content would be nice and I think they'll enjoy it more, especially Ray :)

Harry Woods I know man, I've seen it all and I feel bad for complaining about free and great content but it's getting a burnout. Just look at Ray and you can see why. He was a lot more vocal and excited in the earlier episodes. Now he's openly acknowledged it's getting tedious.

What this let's play really needed was a visual element for the progression. They could have turned a meal in to Geoff once they'd made it and have him give them a block/picture frame/whatever to place in their section to show that they'd completed that task.
What happened to the legit Minecraft games they used to create and play? I mean, now they have Matt, Jeremy, Lindsay, and Kdin working on the Let's Builds, so it shouldn't be too hard for them to just come up with an idea and have them build it, right? I would understand if Geoff and Gavin got tired of building new games, but now they have other people to do it for them. My favorite Minecraft Let's Plays have always been the ones that have been competitive, close, and succinct, like Clouds and Hot Foot. There have been too many conversational Lets Plays as of late, it's starting to get tedious.
*TL;DR* Geoff and Gavin should propose ideas for games, like the good old days, except now they have the others build the games for them.

There has been 131 episodes. They have great ideas but it's hard to come up with some great creative ideas now.

T. Wiggins Well actually in the Wheel Of Fortune episode Ray knew the method in which to get the most accurate results every single time. But as far as trivia goes, maybe. The reason I say Gavin is dumb is not because he knows few facts, it's that he can't even figure out shit. Like most people can figure out that there is no up or down in space because of individual relativity is dramatically skewed to person to person. Yet, somehow, he cannot even fathom that.

After watching a video like this, I find it funny how they're making a channel that's appropriate for kids.
Like one of the FAQs for the new channels was about it being a different channel and they were just like "We have to make a different channel for Game Kids because we don't want kids to be watching this and stumble on a Rage Quit."
Like just imagine some kid watching a Game Kids video and then they come to this video where they talk about fucking food, milking Ryan's wife, getting things stuck in your dick, and a whole bunch of stuff that's wayyy too much for kids to hear.

If I played 132, 30 plus minutes of a game every Friday, i'd find it really boring as well. And let's face it the majority of us stick around not for game play, but for the commentary(which has been lacking!). And if your like me you stick around just hoping that they make another MC Let's play like they did when they first started playing(which I know will never happen, but that's why you have hope right?!). I say all this to say, I think it would be ok if you guys played a variety of different games on Fridays and through out the week. Just because something gets views does not mean that people are necessarily enjoying the content as they once did. My opinion though based on the quality of the videos(specifically minecraft)
