- The "Iceberg of Doom" is a term used to describe the massive iceberg that sank the Titanic, and it has fascinated people for over a century. Scientists now think they’ve solved the mystery of why it appeared so suddenly in the ship’s path. They say unusual weather patterns in 1912, including a “supermoon” and extreme tides, may have caused a lot more icebergs to drift south from Greenland that year. This made the Atlantic especially dangerous for ships, as there were more icebergs than usual in the Titanic’s route. Some experts believe that the iceberg could’ve been hiding in a dark patch of water, making it impossible for the crew to see in time. Now, it’s clearer how such a rare combination of factors led to one of history’s most famous shipwrecks.

The Titanic was scuttled by the owners in order to eliminate the the biggest opposition to the formation of the Federal Reserve.
Agreed, John Jacob Astor is my 4th great Uncle and he was headed to the meeting on the Federal Reserve that JP Morgan was also attending but canceled his ticket at the last minute 🤔 This was no accident
How much did the Federal Reserve pay you to float that red herring?
So I guess Bright Side still likes to talk about what actually happens to the Titanic and it's still interesting about it
nice job man
I was on the Titanic and survived.
If you survived, then more should’ve survived.
You were not on the Titanic. The last Titanic survivor died in 2009.
It actually wasn't the Titanic and was on fire 2 weeks before it set sail, you couldn't see it from the port
only had to be small hole to flood over time and the all the chambers do balance the ship wernt fully sealed .
