I love river they are all gorgeous . I leased a 2021 velar and it goes back this month . I wanted a new one , and although nothing major has changed they want $4-500 a month more for the same priced car . Now my thing is this , the new one looks the ska Ron the outside except a different grill basically , but the inside of my velar smokes this new model in my opinion The leather seats in this new model are pure shit , they feel and look cheap and will crack within 14 k miles . Land Rover was always known for the best seats , my velar has two toned triple thick white stitched black leather with suede side extensions , the suede prevents the seats from ever cracking and the perforations are thick er and more pronounced , the leather itself feels like amazing quality thick grain , where as the new model has no stitching for accents no suede and the leather feels like crap , the one screen looks like it’s stuck in the dashboard with Velcro or glue , where as the old one had a nice bevel and actual control buttons , let’s face it an all digital screen lags and jams up sometimes and no controls equals nit being able to put the cars heat or ac on adjust music connect Bluetooth or phone , or choose the drive mode we want . My dilemma is I want to buy my model outright , but I was always told king term these cats break down a lot and are super expensive to fix anything . I never had an issue with mine but once you out 60k on the truck it will begin to wear down , is it worth it.
LOVED the TWO screens and the more perforated seats with the white stitching on the previous model! I also preferred the textured leather on the glove box rather than the smooth leather. i liked the whole center console on the previous model soooo much better! The large diamond-like trimmed temperature knobs was a very nice touch, too. They've messed this one up. I mean, it just okay, but the previous model looked so much more luxurious and classier.
