By the reviews and pics I’ve seen, it looks amazing but I just bought two Born This Way Sculpting concealers after being totally disappointed with the new Laura Mercier concealer. I wish I knew the wear time of these avocado concealers. Concealers typically last about 15 minutes on my skin, no matter how ling lasting it claims, but the description of that avocado concealer has me intrigued and yes, it does look so good!!
Gel Powder is formula that’s found across some brands in the LVMH umbrella. It’s in the pro fusion line at MUFE and the Tom Ford bronzer. (Only the the really big one). It’s designed to be fool proof and easily blendable yet buildable in layers without ever looking powdery. I’m not a PR person just a huge fan of the formula and really excited they are making more.

using a wet sponge to apply powder highlights works really nicely. it doesn't look dry or powdery, for lack of a better word it looks more...moist?? omg sorry but i don't know how else to describe it. but yeah ever since i've started using a sponge to apply highlighter, i find i like the end result much more than using a brush.

Try the Marc Jacobs shadows on the eyes without setting your base. I have an eyeshadow formula that does almost the exact same thing as what you experienced when you started blending but I found that when I didn’t set my base and it was tacky it worked amazing! Maybe it’ll work? 🤷♀️
