Displeased with GB's comments -- Sharon was right -- this IS the Final, not the time for criticism, etc. I liked the performance -- so much going on. Gary wrote that song -- you'd have thought he'd have been somewhat pleased. Oh well -- Nicky did his country proud!! :)
I agree, in reality each contestant has their own strength and are so different; still think Baily will win, and the battle for second is a toss up. I see potential for all.
Not a fan of the song, but Nicky performed it well enough. I think it might be one song that I'll skip on his CD, though! And Gary Barlow's constant carping is getting really tiresome, thank goodness this is his last season.

They always pick the craziest songs for the finale on the X Factor UK .........lol! Case in point : Matt Cardle Firework in banana yellow pants! I laughed out loud! And I adore Matt. I think his voice is master class but I was dumbstruck by both of these song choices!
Totally agree with Gary. I love Nicholas, but his voice felt very flat and monotone throughout the entire song. Not only that, but Robbie sings it way better (it's not monotone!), and Nicholas should have been able to use his range better.
I totally respect Gary and his oppignion, he is one of the best judge X factor never have ... BUT Like Sharron said ... it's the Final .. no times for critics, at least not negative like its was .. I Like the song ! Nic did a really good job .. ... But .. not his best ! Louis right about one think ... Gary kinda jalous ! oolllool
Gary is a jealous creep. He was trying to destroy Nicholas. Gary always came across as an entitled little smart aleck. It was a great day when he left the X Factor.

the song doesn't really have much of a variation in the tone... it's a really flat song
