God damn. How can this sports car have a supercar price tag?
Repeat the M3 comparison, please. If that is going green, I applaud.
Love your commentaries as always Steve. Bravo! and the driving too of course!
I think this car is intended to compete with the Jaguar XE SV Project 8
It’s not that much faster, it doesn’t feel that different, the dif is clever but not that clever. But he says the car has been taken to another level. Ok
Gorgeous looks
Good thing about turbo engines is more power can be squeezed out of them, a lot of people have got their normal Giulias to 600bhp with just a remap.
There are some with over 700-800 hp, That would probably make this car pretty much unbeatable.
Great stuff Steve
This looks so much better than any of the new m series cars. I'm hate to say this despite being a bmw guy.
La berlina sportiva stradale più veloce. Semplicemente fantastica.
another absolute virtuoso from italy the land of finesse.
This is why I picked up a Quadrifoglio late last year.
Enjoy standing beside the road whilst its broke.
@@crimsonpirate1710 Enjoy being a broke immature Kid.
Absolutely stunning 🤩
155k It costs more than the new GT3. As great as it looks, i think they are asking a bit much there
because its limited car
More like
$200,000 for a properly equipped GT3 I think closer to the truth.
This is exclusive and the gt3 is just another common Porsche.
@@robby8384 hardly a common Porsche.
@@brucemackenzie4952 yes but I think Porsche will be making more than 500 of the gt3 and the gtam has already been sold out. It would have been purchased by enthusiasts and people looking to buy a future classic for investment purposes.
This car is everything!
Wait, did he say 180,000 euros??? For a Quadrifolio?? Absolutely insane.
Not much more power than the regular one... 20 kg lighter?
It's silly money for an Alfa with a bit of carbon body trim and a stupid wing.
Steve is a good driver, but he was wasting time sliding it to much,He should have been able to get it down to 1.15,i would like to see Jason Plato take it round?
Microsoft Paint could encode this video better. (Slight sarcasm) It's like a 360, maybe 480P source resolution upscaled to HD, it's obnoxiously blocky footage.
I love this "ALPHA"
0:38 - "might cost an eye-watering 180,000 Euros, but it does weight 40KG less" - the logic does not add up there, anyone can achieve that level of weight saving by replacing the stock seats with recaro/sparco , and it costs US$2000. The car is over priced and it is not a halo car, no excuse on that
Yeah but at least now you can't put people in the back seat of your *checks notes* 3600lb sedan.
its actually 100kg, almost all specs infoed here are wrong. Ill suggest you go and check what are all the differencies with this to regular version. And I can guarantee there are lots of differencies, what you get with car
It’s gonna be a hit. Alfa Romeo have potential to make M5, M6, E AMG, CLS AMG S6 and S7 rival.
The normal Giulia QV is already faster than the popular BMW's and most Mercedes
@@jakegargiulo5101 Yes indeed. Giulia QV is way faster than BMW's and Mercedes. But Giulia is a D segment, therefore It's competitor are only M3, M4, C AMG, S4 and S5. It's a bit missed opportunity for Alfa Romeo didn't try to tap and snatch E segment which E segment have a very huge market.
@@jakegargiulo5101 Ive seen some with 600- 800 hp . I think that power makes this car unbeatable around the track.
Interesting to see that EVO says the car is only 20 kgs lighter while Pistonheads & CAR magazine says its 100kgs lighter WIERD
I think the GTA is 80kg lighter than the basic QF (depending on options) and the GTAm is 20kg lighter than the GTA.
@@dodge3048 Maybe so
Finally.....The Giulia GTA-AM. Thank you Evo. What a beautiful and Racey colour. ❤️
GTAm!😉
I'll take the body kit!! but def not worth the 180 grand
So the fastest were 2 seconds better? What if...you get a more aggressive driver?
Can't quite understand this kind of cars, just like the M4 GTS
Maybe I would with a fatter wallet
Maybe you would if you drove it. And if you had the money to buy it. Its a track based car.
There is wife involved so can't buy a Porsche.
Please calm down on the editing, doesn't need all the transitions and filters. You have a quality product and feels like it's gilding-the-lily.
2000's Top Gear production in 2021
My thoughts exactly..
Was thinking the exact same thing. Still like the car though
Can we please fix the audio balance on future Evo videos? COTY was messed up and so is this. There's very little right channel audio and it's awful.
and the video quality is a pixelated mess too. What the heck?!
