Beautiful collection. No very revolutionary and/or future-forward but very salable and has so many pieces to love in it. I remember when Ralph Lauren had to be shamed into using black models in his shows and print ads. Really, this is a true fact. And now h opened his show with seven black models, all looking beyond beautiful. There's a god after all and she's smiling down at that runway. If there's any one piece I would love to own, it would be the white rainboots and the short ankle rain clogs.

I think there is waaaay too much emphasis on race these days. Has anyone noticed that there are far too many black models considering that in American only 15 % of the population is black? There is far too much discrimination against white people today, and racism towards white people is applauded.

Now that it's equal there's "too may blacks." What ignorant thinking. I hope you were calling out all white shows for too many whites as well. Diversity is beautiful.

Clean, crisp, fresh....they know their clientele. Can’t fault them for delivering expectations. Do I love it? No...I don’t think it’s necessarily smart to be safe in this climate of directional and forward houses, but I don’t expect a Gucci-level revolution at RL.

The season that just ended their runway shows are F/W 2018. Some advertise this as 2018-2019, but it means the same thing. Ralph Lauren intentionally lagged (S/S 2018) to appeal to a more ready-to-wear audience. You're on track, no worries.
