      Evan Herrman one more comment to add. It looks to me that you are going on a journey that could lead you to great things!
      I know I’m just a random RUclips commenter but I would like to tell you about a concept called spiral dynamics. Theres a lot of value in it That I Hope you’ll find for yourself. there’s a book published about it. It’s too detailed for me to explain but there’s plenty of resources online as well.
      Lately I’ve been using the idea of self talk in Shad’s book in combination with the ideas of spiral dynamics and I think there’s really something there!

    This interviewer asks great questions. For example, the Q about the father who meant well but was actually kind of a jerk--my Dad did that too. And the Q about violent video games. Great interview, great job.

    Self talk or affirmations need to get past the critical faculty in the subconscious mind or the doorkeeper.Repeating things over and over will not do it - you have to be in Theta or Delta mode in the brain.This can be done just before you go to sleep or playing a loop of your own voice of positive affirmations as you sleep.These will then go into the subconscious mind.

    The host’s fear of death, and subsequent attachment to Judeo-Christianity, makes his perspective so stale and predictable. If you’re going to create this type of content, get over your fear of the unknown.

    • @evanherrman
      @evanherrman  3 года назад +1

      David, I hope you having a great day. My past fear of death was caused by a lot of different experiences. Mostly having one close person in my life die each year sense 2008. I have had 3 people die in front of me. 2 of my best friends were killed in the same plan crash and the list goes on. I even held my own daughters body has she was passed. So I hope you can have a little understand and empathy for all the tragic loss that cased this past fear. Aldo you are right about needing to get over it. I tried for years and it was just so hard to do until I saw a therapist about it. That really helped me a lot and was the biggest blessing to help me overcome that fear. What is your biggest fear?

    • @e.a.p3174
      @e.a.p3174 3 года назад +1

      David talk is cheap, take a trip over to Kabul and see how quickly the fear of death will come to you. Christianity is true.
