i saw this somewhere and it made so much sense to me, as a queer woman. the reason why this ship is so good is because of the fact that the entire show lacked so much male gaze. this relationship that they have isn't trying to appeal to males by making it overly sexual. it isn't trying to fetishize wlw relationships. it's made to feel like a real thing and it feels so natural. riot did so well on this one.

Well, im a grown man, have wife, two little kids, and i cant understand why i'm hoping for these two to be together, i mean damm U Riot... nice job. Character creation, voice actors, body mimics, graphics, every single thing is masterpiece, cant wait to watch season 2. And i hope Riot will finish what they started building here.. :>

Vi and Caitlyn compliment each other well and they have so much chemistry together. Vi is hot-tempered, cynical and brash, while Caitlyn is patient, optimistic and calculated.
Caitlyn has been sheltered for almost her entire life and only saw the world through the biased lenses of her privileged Piltover life. She was clueless about how the real world works until she met Vi, who opened her eyes to reality.
Vi has been in prison for almost 10 years and during those years, she never felt any form of love or affection inside a prison cell. She never trusted anyone for so long until she met Caitlyn. Despite their rocky start, Vi began to trust Caitlyn overtime. The way Caitlyn cared for Vi when she was at her weakest and most vulnerable made Vi feel genuinely cared for and loved for the first time in many years.
They bring out the best in each other and Riot needs to confirm their relationship like they did with Leona and Diana 😂 🏳️🌈
(Though I doubt they would show it on screen since homosexual romance is banned in many countries but it would be nice to maybe get a short novel of it)

Okay, I have to leave a comment here again. I've been watching/listening to the video on continuous loop and I'm just blown away. The mood you set, the editing, the music, everything harmonises so perfectly and reflects Arcane's atmosphere so well.
Just the juxtapositions with the "Vi says I can trust you" --> "In what mad world would I trust you" --> "This only works if we can trust each other" God damn it I love how you create such a complex and profound relationship in two minutes with the simplest of means. Just because it shows that the storytellers of the series have really made an effort! Same goes with the "What are you shooting for?" and then the shot. Brilliant... I don't want to be the fanboy, but for someone who sees dozens of amv and videos like this every day for fun I just have to tell you how much I'm touched by your video!

I binge watched Arcane last night and I’m very emotional about it. I keep thinking about the characters and how freakin’ phenomenally they were developed. The gorgeous animations and colours are also still swirling in my mind. I’ve been searching all day and all over where I possibly can to find edits about the show but mostly about Vi and Cait, obviously. 😂 I really don’t want S2 to be rushed! I understand that with my HEAD but my poor HEART is craving them. Hey here's some young random straight woman's thoughts on this two: I've never felt so warmt up in my entire life with any other fictional couple, gay or straight or whatever. It just melts my heart how perfectly well done they are introduced to us and to each other in the series. I can relate with what I feel for my boyfriend because it's the same genuine feeling and emotion of love and connection and caring for your partner. God I do hope we'll see more of them together in season 2
