Franschhoek Wine Tram Festival of Lights 2022

This festive season, in support of the children in the Franschhoek community, The Franschhoek Wine Tram presents ‘Festival of Lights’ - a first for the Franschhoek Valley, with the hope of it becoming an annual magical Franschhoek festive affair!
Guests arrive at the Franschhoek Terminal from 7:30pm, welcomed by festive music, delicious food and drink offerings, and general Christmas cheer. Departures via the double-decker tram start from 8pm, and guests hop onto the Tram at their allocated booking time for a 20-minute journey, experiencing a specially choreographed festive light display on each side of the Tram tracks.
Funds raised throughout the event are donated to FRANCO & The Kusasa Project, two non-profit organisations that operate in and support underprivileged children in the Franschhoek community. As the Kusasa Project team always says, ‘It’s all about the kids!’, and that’s most definitely the motivation behind the event.
It’s a festive night-time adventure to be enjoyed by the whole family, and the perfect excuse to visit Franschhoek, while giving back to charity.
