Awesome hunt B and C. 👍🏾👏✌ very funny too. 🤣🤣 i started laughing when Bill started digging after C said " can you help me. Great stuff. Thanks again for swangin the vanquish team. 🤜🏽🤛🏽👍👏👏
Well Christine & Bill That was a good video 3 hunts. Christine did well even though she had been working. Then Bill picked up the garbage but proved that if you keep going you will get the rings. Looking forward to the next video. I must say Christine that was a goo looking cup cake.
Thanks... I was hoping Christine would have been able to hunt longer but she got too tired..... anyway, yes that one park has been a great location for hunting. I keep getting rings from it
Always a lot of clad, nice old wheat 🌾 penny. That’s a lot of trash Bill, but your determination gave you more good than bad in both parks. Nice jewelry for the both of you.💗💗💗⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dang Bill you must have dug a hole a minute. That’s a lot of stuff for 180 mins of detecting. Christine get some rest you are working a lot of hours. Thank you for making the video and sharing your hunt with us.
It is amazing how much I can do when focused.... I am going to clean out that entire first park. Christine is working another 16 hours as I sit here responding to comments....
Nice Hunts guys! You most definitely put the work in on those grass Hunts Bill! That's alot of targets for 90 min per park ! Awesome job guys love the videos keep em coming ! Good Luck in all your future Hunts guys I see Gold in your future! 🙂👍
Not too many sand parks left! Even the wood chips are being replaced with soft rubber floors! A big change from the rusty metal death traps we played on as kids!
That candy token is the best of your treasures !! I think it says confection, not connection. And the 1929 penny is a real prize as well. Setting a time limit keeps it fun, too! A+
So your token is from the all quality confection company in Chicago Illinois and was a jackpot token that was dropped from a form of slot machine. you'd put in your coin pull the lever and get the token and the candy they're talking about was very similar to life savers It's from the late 1920s to the middle 1930 it's actually worth about $6. Great find.
Now that is very interesting.... the one side has some damage but overall it is in great shape. We are saving everything this year so it will be interesting to see how many tokens we end up with. I am not mixing anything from this year with past years.
Way to rock it, Christine. 16 hours of work, and then you go metal detecting for relaxation 😌 😎 Girl, you need a Metal Detecting Vacation!!!! Bill, take her away from sunny California 🌞
Christine is rich, who else gets to go detecting after only having to work 16hrs!? 😉 Bill, my first glimpse of the ring the overall shape looked like a hose clamp. Haha, glad it wasn't!! Currently detecting vicariously through you two while I recover from neck surgery. Have a great weekend keep digging!
Good morning Bill and Christine. Great hunt and Christine you are trooper for going out after 16 hours of work. Bill great finds on the rings. I wish I could go out with guys one day. Thanks for the video
Thanks.... I agree about Christine... When I worked doubles, It kicked my back side... she is tough. Hunting with others is always fun...would be cool!
I guess that christine is a 911 phone operator! If so that takes a strong person! 💪♥️ love the hunts as always! The mystery find to me, looks like a pen you write with. Like one they give away with the company's name on it for advertising. See ya next video! 😉
That tot-lot Christine detected had quite a bit of finds in it! WTG! 👍🏼 Bill, you found a lot of targets in the turf from those two parks….interestingly, that monstrosity of a ring you found looks familiar to me….I remember finding a ring like that some years ago. I remember telling myself for days after finding it how someone could wear a ring like that 😂. I also found a sterling ring with similar design some time after. Congrats!!
I thought the same thing about that ring... I felt it has to be one of the ugliest rings I have ever found.... The one park has been very fun for me... It feels like nobody else has worked it or at least not in a very long time.
Walking Mission Beach here in San Diego, saw sunglasses in the sand and thought, "surface find." I've also started addressing the gulls as Gary. Is this what they mean when they use the term influencer, lol? Thanks for another cool video. Wonderful way to start my day.
If that weird thing you found has a light on the end and a metal Rod on the other,I’d guess it was for sticking it into electrical outlets to find the hot lead. Love your videos
Good morning, nice to see you bot metal detecting. As you know i live way up there in Montreal. Presently we are having a foot plus of snow on the ground. But... i decided to get my gear ready and i will likely go detecting over the week end. I may find ice quarters lolll
I wonder how many of us have splits in the skin at the end of our thumbs. I thought it was just me. CHRISTINE your "poo smell" retort had me laughing out loud, again! That little plastic nub with a bolt thread, is off of rugby or football cleats. Thanks for another Saturday morning's treat to go along with my coffee.
Good morning guys I love the both of you together but maybe with out Christine there you can find good treasure (just kidding) Love you guys as always thanks for sharing
Some have said from the 20s or 30s... very cool. However that does not mean it has been in the ground that long... If it had, I would think it would be more damaged
Trash, trash and more trash. Sounds like your taking lessons from me. Though I watch numerous vids on discriminating out trash , uhhh no, if it pings, I dig. Just never know what trash sound may be treasure. Should be any day now 🤞🏼
So true... the way I see it, we hit a lot of the same parks... getting the trash out can only improve our hunts in the future.... Good luck on your hunts
I think the token is find of the day. You said you are going to be more methodical tracking this year I think it would be fun if you made a charm bracelet for each park and each beach over the course of the year adding what charms you find in each location over time.
The first park finds you found you didn't know about were a spin-on cleat and a mechanical pencil. The second park the token could be from the 1930s. The 1929 penny. depending on condition and mint mark could be between $0.20 to $0.50. Maybe a little more?
Great hunt you guys. Bill, you dug a lot in those 2 90 min hunts. I see all those bottle caps and wonder if you have used the single freq to discriminate and not have to dig as many. There are tons of bottle caps in some areas of a park that I hunt the most. I'm usually in park 1 there on the 800 and when I switch from multi to 4khz over those, for example 10 to 19 range targets, and they jump up into the 30's they have been bottle caps when I dug them. I have used 5 and 10khz. The higher the freq the less of a jump in vdi number, but still a considerable jump. I have tested a 21k ring and 14k charm that I found and those stay consistent +or- 1-3 numbers throughout the frequencies. I know it's probably not 100% foolproof and there are variables and something good could be missed but I feel it has worked very well for me especially when time to hunt is a factor. So, I'm sitting here in Michigan looking at 7" of snow ❄on the ground waiting for the melt and thaw. I did get out on Tues though before it snowed at that park and dug a '43 Merc so I can't be too mad at mother nature I guess. Thank you guys for the warmer sunny videos, it helps.🌞🌴. Oh Yeah, if anyone else wants to comment on discriminating bottle caps or knows how to, by some miracle, discriminate pull tabs that would be great!
Great info... I have to say, I really should give that a try.... on the other side of the coin, The more caps that I remove the better my hunts will get at my regular locations. But, it would be nice not digging them all the time. One more thing, most of the time, I can tell it is going to be a bottle cap. The VDI is usually really jumpy on them.
@@DigginSoCal It would be interesting to see your results if you're inspired to try it. I originally saw it on some other youtuber's videos last year. Your strategy too of cleaning up the trash targets from your usual hunt areas makes a lot of sense.
YOU HAVE PROBABLY ANSWERED THIS BEFORE, BUT WHAT DOES CHRISTINE DO AT HER WORK? I HAVE WATCHED EVERY VIDEO BUT I CANT REMEMBER IF YOU SAID WHAT SHE DOES OR NOT. YOU TWO ARE SO FUN TO WATCH I JUMP OVER TO YOUR VIDEOS EVERYTIME YOU POST A NEW ONE.
Both of you had good hunts..I just would have hated all those pull tabs and bottle caps..what kind of work does Christine do? Hope she got plenty sleep since she had to work that night. Have a great weekend.
In FY 2021, the toll to make, administer and distribute the 1-cent coin climbed to 2.1 cents from 1.76 cents while the cost for the 5-cent coin increased to 8.52 cents from 7.42 cents. Higher prices for copper and zinc accounted for much of the increases.
