Gina Carano is one of the nicest person in MMA. NO QUESTION.

He's soo sweet ❤ and the fact that he's been able to hold on to his humbleness and kindness throughout the years is endearing.
And yet he can play the most horrible villain. I saw him last in that Harley Quinn movie, and man was he terrifying! That one also had some well choreographed, crazy, over the top fighting scenes in it. What I loved about Haywire, however, was just how grounded the action looked therein: Just very efficiently brutal. An entirely different approach to the more theatrical, John Wick style fighting in Birds of Prey.
He seems to be a down to earth guy.
Ewan is an awesome actor and a really good hearted person it seems. i bet he'll become an mma fan fairly soon.
Ewan's awesome. Those shows he did where he motorcycled across the world, and camped in the rainforest were amazing. He seems totally down to earth.

the fight between him and gina was the worst of the movie. ewan looked fuckin amateur compared to gina. btw, really hope this movie launches gina. i'd like to see her in more action movies.
Ewan McGregor is a class act. Without knowing Carano, I'm inclined to think that he was being graciously generous about her "acting," which was, in fact, "one-note." Her character and her performance had z-e-r-o charisma. I have difficulty believing GC is "gentle" (or that she is characteristic of fighters). Watch some of her MMA fights -- she's brutal. When asked by an interviewer how it felt to knock out someone, her chipper reply was "Awesome!" Gentle people fight and don't like to fight.
Keep in mind even "great" actors have had bad performances, and "bad" actors have had good performances. One of the Jobs a director has is to help his actors shine in the roles they are given. Finding ways to accentuate the actors strengths and mask their weaknesses is the sign of a great director. Dave bautista didnt have alot of skill when Gunn hired him onto Guardians of the Galaxy but Gunn knew how to play him so he would be able to utilize his strengths and not have to reveal his weaknesses. Carano was not terrific in her role, but that doesnt mean she is a bad actress, or is STILL bad even. She is growing with experiences, both successes and failures, but a GOOD director will figure out her strengths and weaknesses and help her play to those strengths while masking her weaknesses.
Correction: Gentle people DON'T fight and don't like to fight.
Thats not always true. A mother will fight to protect her children, a loving husband or father will likewise fight to protect his wife and kids. Gentleness is not the same as weakness or cowardess. You can be a Gentle Protector and also fight when the time comes to do so.
Mistaking kindness for weakness? Lol not too smart.
