I don’t understand a word they’re saying, and there are no English subtitles, but make the hot male lead delirious from a raging fever, and suddenly, I’m obsessed!! I have what I call my Nightingale Files (after Florence Nightingale, the famous nurse) with literally hundreds of sick/hurt scenes. Most of these are from dramas I have never watched all the way through, although they are my favorites. But what made them my favorite is all the sick hurt scenes they have. My favorite are historical dramas. Although modern dramas will have sick/hurt scenes as well, you’re guaranteed to get at least one in a historical drama with an awesome fever scene because anti-pyretic medicines weren’t readily available back then. You’re going to get at least one scene where the male lead is injured, develops a raging fever from the infection of the wound, he thrashes about in a state of delirium and they have to hold him down until he slips back into unconsciousness, and everyone waits with bated breath to see if he’ll ever wake up again. And when he finally does, the female lead realizes she was in love with him the entire time. Classic formula for Historical Asian dramas, but I am soooooo here for it, lol.
@@sissymayemaye agreedd. historical dramas are the source of most injuries, you are bound to witness the ml get pierced while protecting his darling ohmigod. and are we the same person?! i usually don’t ever finish the show, im mainly there for the vulnerable content ehe. I only like it when it’s the ml tho, great contrast between masculinity and a moment of vulnerability. also thank you for the recommendation! a lot of these scenarios with hot mls are hard to findd. id recommend (irreplaceable love) bai jingting, the ml of this drama has a hospitalised scene from ep 27 to 33.
