Happens. My aunt has black hair, black eyes, and an olive tanned skin as she is half iranian. Her husband dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and golden tanned skin, he's from columbia. Their first daughter has blue eyes, blond hair, and was very light skinned when young. Both my aunt and her hustband had blond hair and blue eye genes, they were just not dominant.
It's called recessive genes. If two parents have a dominant gene like brown eyes but a recessive gene of blue eyes with it both parents could pass on just the recessive gene resulting in a blur eyed baby. You can use a punnet square to show that the child has a 25% chance of receiving a recessive blue eye gene.
@@andriahedgepeth1886 i understand that but this is coming from a show where the main plot was hinged on the "the rightful heir" as determined by dominant genetics like green eyes and black hair.
@@k.a.3614 I think someone needs to do a dna test 😂 because even if the parents have those genes in their system their offspring should only get a few but all at once? Yeah a dna test needs to be specially if they Iranians
You’d be surprised how genetics can work. If an ancestor had certain DNA traits it’s a possibility that those traits are givven to someone generations later. Maybe sam’s mother had blond-haired ancestors. We all know the truth behind little Sam heritage but yeah, hope you see what I mean
His mother and sister are so kind... I mean, Dickon too, but there's only one scene with him in this part. Then, Drogon burned him :| Of course his father is guilty for this.
Lots of people in the comment section don't understand, the father of that child and father of sam's wife are the same person. So that means Sam is not the biological father of that child.
I mean, the guy threatened to kill him in a hunting accident if he didn't join the Night's Watch. It's understandable Sam is a little jumpy at the prospect of him appearing, especially when he's trying to pass off Little Sam as his biological son.
I like how Sam says that the child is his even though it's technically Craster's,he's a good man i don't see why Randyll doesn't want him as his heir...
Randyll only appreciated warriors and fit men who can hunt and wield a sword, like him. Sam is fat and soft and interested in books. In his eyes Sam is not fit to be his rightful heir. But Randyll doesn't know Sam is actually courageous, that he killed a White Walker to protect a woman and her baby, he fought during wildlings invasions and he killed a Thenn. He also doesn't know that Sam is lying about little Sam's paternity because he is an honourable man who wants to protect the woman he loves and her child. And even if he knew I doubt he would be more respectful towards Sam who he hates because he represents everything Randyll isn't. But Sam is a true man. I would be so lucky to find a man like him. Or Tyrion. True power of men is in their moral strength, honour, courage to do the right thing and their desire to protect the weak and defenceless. Sam and Tyrion are my favourite in this series. And to an extent The Hound.
Because Westeros is a feudal society that puts more value in strength than a scholarly mind. It’s literally a “kill or be killed” world where if you’re not strong enough to even defend yourself, it doesn’t matter how smart you are. You can be as smart as you want, but if you can’t even kill another person because of lack of skill in swordplay or strength of arm, you’ll either never rise socially above where you currently are or you’ll be dead. Randyll just wanted a physically stronger heir to takeover when he dies so he knows the family will survive for at least another generation.
Randall was like those old dads that just hate on everything their children do because they didn’t turn out exactly how they wanted. No wonder those old men grow old and die alone. They think it’s all good talking shit to their kids until you need someone’s help getting up and off the toilet.
All that family was nice but lord Tarly, one does wonder how..
Thankfully Randyll Tarly's douchebag genes missed all his kids.
Randyl was an @$$Hole & Dickon was a Tool other than that, the Tarleys were decent people
Perhaps Little Sam has blue eyes because he’s part White Walker, being Craster’s son?
"This is our child" said the brown eyed parents about their blue eyed son
