When graphnix didn't know what type of alien spider that was, that was actually a facehugger. In the xenomorph movies, the facehugger would attached to a human host and when it falls off. It will create this reptillian type of alien called the Xenomorph, this alien has a tail capable of piercing through a human body, has corosive acid in it's body to melt objects also has a tougue capable of biting through, sometimes when a facehugger attaches to a different host they make a different versions of the xenomorph and the only enemy of the Xenomorph is Predator, known as yautja
