Everytime when i was watching The Lion King as my childhood I've always cried when Mufasa dies on the stampede gorge and now I've been playing this game for years.
I am an expert in the SNES release, and I recently beaten this version in an emulator on the highest difficulty. I LOVE Lion King. The original movie is a masterpiece.
I played a ton of the SNES version and a bit of this version as well. I love the Lion King. This takes me back to when my biggest issue was completing the monkey puzzle
A Disney licensed game based on Totally NOT Jungle Emperor Leo, by Westwood of later Command & Conquer fame! And it’s readily available on the Digital Eclipse compilation these days.
I don't have the original version of this game for Sega Genesis, but I do have the port of it along with Disney's Aladdin as part of the Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King compilation collection for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch. I also have an older Lion King game which is Disney's The Lion King: Simba's Mighty Adventure for PS1.
@@paulgilbert5278 I agree, my brother had both SNES and Gen. of Aladdin, I enjoy the SNES of that one more. The Gen. looks more like animation but the SNES was made by and has that classic Capcom charm.
Snes was o overrated trash . Sega have a far superior port of lion king . Go and wach Snes garbage and let Sega reast in peace is a old console out of gaming industry

Snes was imposible to pass second stage as a child due smaller resolution .Awful music . Sega is a far superior port go and wach snes trash.

I like it more than the SNES version, and to me the music sounds better on Sega, great video guys !
I prefer the SNES version due to nostalgia but some parts of the Genesis version are better
