Diluc really hates Kaeya, real shame cause I often thank of them as brothers. Diluc sure must care about Lumine for him to give her his highest grade grape juice.
Diluc does see kaeya as his brother but doesnt show them ->-
The thing is, Kaeya and Diluc ARE brothers
Diluc dont really hate kaeya, but they can't stay normal like nothing happened after kaeya told diluc about his past
In a comic about their past you can find out that Kaeya was basically abandoned by his father by the winery and a strong was coming so the people there rushed him because he was a kid in and Dilucs father has basically adopted him so Diluc and Kaeya were brothers. But than Dilucs father died tragically and Kaeya told Diluc about his past, about where he's from and his father and everything, Diluc raged and they started fighting and as Dilucs fire was burning with rage for the first time Kaeya fought back and that's when he got his vision. A battle of ice and fire. That's why they aren't on good terms. Than Diluc went away seeking information about his fathers death and people behind it leaving behind his title in the knights of favonious and his vision, which Kaeya kept until Diluc returned. He visited Diluc talking with him about a certain issue while Diluc was playing darts, and Kaeya said something so shocking Diluc lost his composer and instead of the target for his darts accidentally hit a vase and broke it. Kaeya said he will send Diluc a new one to which Diluc responded that he doesn't trusts Kaeyas taste and send his servant for a new vase.
But you can see the vase that Kaeya sent to Diluc still in the winery, if you observe it it says it looks out of place, Kaeya send him a vase even tho he was asked not to, because that's how he gave Diluc back his vision. He sent it in a extragavant vase. But Diluc tho he might not say it appreciates and values the gift from his brother and so he kept the vase.
There, just a little... Fun fact. I just really love that story of the two brothers who's visions are it's exact opposites. XD
