Sorry I had to add another comment. Crazier is written by Yunjin, so it makes sense why its personal for her. She knows each lyric, each verse, tonality and emotion behind it. This is the reason she is producing it, she is more Hands ON because its her baby!!!!
I think Sakura has her confidence back - you can see that during this last comeback but esp at their many university performances - because this had to been filmed right after easy era, as well as around Coachella. So her confidence at this moment was affected by hate yet again. Of course doubting herself when you can only see the sea of negativity over positivity hurts people. Instead of good constructive criticism, people just make fun of her and mock her.. degrade her. Yunjin guided her beautifully. They all sound so great. Every singer can practice and get better.. they don’t practice for nothing. The amount of idols journey in how they started and sounded compared to years later? That’s due to practice and slowly improving. But people saying they improved “but..” is ridiculous imho. Yes, they CAN sing. They use whatever weaknesses they have by using their strengths. And their weaknesses do not make them untalented at all. I do wish Yunjin would produce and direct for the group as long as she enjoyed it.. it shouldn’t be just on her to make LE SSERAFIM music tho. But to be really involved would be amazing honestly. We can certainly hope that for the future!
I always respect Yunjin, this could easily be just a duet between her and Chaewon, but she wanted the whole group to be in it. Seeing Yunjin producing and navigating each member's parts, her coaching really pays off. It makes me wonder what their Other producer does in previous albums? I have seen Soyeon as a producer and you really have to encourage and push your singer to do something that you envision, but at the same time you have to select the part that they are most suitable for. Its a balancing act of picking the right pieces for the puzzle.
Chaewon's voice is so warm. Many idols who can sing higher have such a harsh, shrill or nasally tone. Chaewon's voice is appropriately angelic and comforting. One of my favorite idol tones out there. Along with Haewon and Yuqi.
You should react to their recent live performances at the university festivals in korea. I can really see they're getting their confidence back, especially Sakura. And they're having so much fun on stage, it's awesome
I agree that Sakura need courage to sing. She slow learner but she hard worker. She learn the choreo slowest, but sometimes the result of some parts is the best in the group. Her voice color is good. She can sing in chest voice and falsetto. She need learn how to use her mix voice and head voice. Kazuha learn faster because her training periode is very short and she only knows ballet. I think Kazuha need one year more to reach the level of Chaewon now. Eunchae level like Sakura in singing. But i do not like her voice color in general. When she perform in Music Bank, she add a little bit breath and it sound nice. I think Eunchae still search the style that fit to her tone.
I also agree with your opinion about the choreo and performance strategy that make their singing bad. Le sserafim have hardest choreo for girl group and they singing several songs without a proper break. Even Kazuha who the most athletics run of breath in the middle of performance. After Coachella, Source Music performance director learned. Now, when they sing they did not follow the choreo strictly and they made proper break in each song. Many people think their vocal technique improved, but it is not the case.
@@anistardi Their vocal technique did improve in my opinion. Of course, there is still much room for improvement but if you watch all the university performances they did recently, you can hear clearly that they sound more stable. I also admire them for the fact that, ever since Coachella, they never put down that mic even after all the hate they got for their vocals. They could've just relied on lip syncing or heavy backtracks to keep it safe but they sing live every time. I believe in these girls and their potential for growth
Kazuha is really improving so fast but her technique is still lack so they should keep giving her lines that fit her vocals and not high notes like in unforgiven cuz it's not for her it's for chaewon and yunjin but she can improve by time
