  • In this video, I compare laser TV versus a Mini-LED TV. The both have pros and cons, but which one would you choose?

    It gives you a movie theater feel. The movie theater doesn't have perfect blacks either, it's similar. If you want the best contrast and image, over immersion, then of course go with an oled or good LED.

    Thing is as amazing as the size is in IDEAL lighting. We have to give the disclaimer that the price for doing this puts you on the side of planning and understanding vs Omg let me buy a laser tv. Most ust go from 100 to 150 inches. That’s what your buying a projector for. But wait… the price. As the smaller alr screens are affordable the larger you get the closer you are to buying a second projector. Something to think about. Great solution for people who want that BIG CINEMATIC FEEL. Not a good solution for those who are looking for something just to satisfy a tech itch. Get a 85 inch oled and call it a day.

    Looks washed out, should have used the AWOL LTV 3500 Pro, looks just as a good as an LED.

      There is a note at the beginning of the video about this 00:34. I own the AWOL, Hisense, ForMovie, and BenQ V5000i. They all look great in person, but when you try to show them in video, the camera settings wash out and change the colors of the image. Basically, lasers don't like cameras. Lol!

      All projectors do. Laser projectors even tend to have a purple hue to them on camera as well. This is something you really need to see in person to truly appreciate.

    You didn't mention the power consumption between a 98 inch tv and a laser tv.
    BTW, the new Hisense PX3 pro sits much closer to the wall than the Hisense L9H 100/120" Laser TV, and you have the freedom to choose the size of your screen while the L9H is fixed on 2 sizes.

    Definitely not an alternative to an OLED. Terrible contrast.

      Even the best projectors don't compare to OLED... This is a moot point.

      @@NewStuffTV1Just wait till they'll be vision hits the 10,000 nits 😂 its going to be epic But the whole point of HDR in general is to mimic real life unless it's complete darkness you'll never get that with a projector HDR is sort of redundant on a projector right now for the most part sure it can accept the signal but not the same effect as a panel any panel tv 🤷

    The marketing for this came just years too late, with tv prices being so cheap.
    Anybody would be insane to buy this, over a 100" u76 hisense thats 2200$ now. It having local dimming, its going to obliterate the brightness and contrast of most if not all consumer projectors.
    I say this as a 2 projector home. But... one room being 148", the other 100" but that gets taken outside for a 200" screen. 1080p 100" for say a nice 500$ ViewSonic, sure. Beyond that, youd be insane not to go tv.

    Great explanation. I might have missed it, but did you turn off the lights and close the shades to show what the LASER PROJECTOR looks like in ideal conditions? Also do you have a link to the stand that you are using?

    Lazer TVs were what I wanted, now that you have 100 inch TCL and Hisense TVs for under $3k then there's no real reason to get a lazer tv or prejector. Problem with Projectors is you need to get a good screen which can easily cost over $1k.

    UST projectors always outperform the lifestyle projectors like your Hisense C1. But the caveat is that you need to use the ALR screen. This is why I prefer the portable options provided by the lifestyle projectors. And those USTs are huge. Only meant for permanent setups. I also dont like how the USTs have to sit a distance from the wall. You did a great job on that furniture modification. At first I thought you purchased on of those $15K laser TV cabinets. Your next review , I'd be curious to see how how you like the Laser TV compared to your Hisense C1 setup. (hint,hint) Another Cool Review . Thanks Bro!

      @NewStuffTV1  9 дней назад +1

      Thanks for the compliment and video suggestion! Personally, I prefer the experience of the C1 for even more cinematic viewing... Even though the L9h is much brighter and versatile. I should be getting the PX3-PRO in a couple of weeks, so I will make a comparison of UST versus standard throw projectors then.
