- UNDERTALE YELLOW!! The Undertale Yellow Flowey Fight. God I love undertale yellow. I would even argue that undertale yellow surpasses the original game in many ways, and that's saying a lot. The neutral route boss fight (shown in this video) is legitimately my favorite of any undertale fight, official or not. They did such a good job on this game! Hey, I love all of your stuff and your work has genuinely inspired me to create my own YTPMVs. Is there any advice or tips or anything you feel like sharing? Again, I absolutely love all of your stuff. My favorite is the Another Medium one, the dog in the microwave is absolutely fantastic :)
My advice is make whatever shit you want. Put your whole personality into it. Make YTPMVs of songs that you enjoy a lot, and you'll improve over time. Every YTPMV I have made has used a song that I have listened to SO MANY times, and it really makes me more enthusiastic to make more of them. Just the simple fact that you can make your own stupid little videos with whatever samples you want, with whatever music you want, should inspire a lot of creativity!
If you're wanting advice on what programs to use, I would suggest the following:
For audio:
- FL Studio
- REAPER (it's basically free, they let you use the trial version forever. this is also what I use)
- VEGAS Pro (its a video editor but it also works as an audio editor!)
For visuals:
- VEGAS Pro (this is the gold standard for YTPMV making, has been since the beginning of youtube, but it also is prone to crashing. I use this)
- Premiere Pro (unsure about this one but i've heard it's a great video editor, and also it probably doesn't crash as much as vegas pro does)
- After Effects (i would only suggest this if you want really fancy visuals for your videos)
How do you get all of these, you may ask? You could pay for them. But, surprise surprise, most YTPMV makers dont get these programs in a legal way. Which is completely fine! If you want to use some alternative methods, I would check out a certain megathread over on the /r/piracy subreddit. It's got good resources to help anyone out

But I had a question, is there a way to change the note of a sound that I like without changing the duration? like, I’ve been having this issue where instruments that I like last like 2 seconds normally but when they hit really high notes they’re way shorter and it doesn’t have the sound that i’m looking for. And I tried looping it but I can’t get it to work right. Most of the stuff I try to do is in Audacity if that’s relevant.
Would I be better off just finding a different sound that does high notes better? Or is there a way to fix this that I’m just not aware of
@@catsinpockets8460 I’m not sure why that’s happening? I think that’s just a thing with audacity. I wouldn’t really recommend using it as a program for audio editing, since it is quite limited in what it can do compared to better audio workstations.
