It at the very least should either keep all enchantments, or not keep charge. It feels strange that it keeps the charge but not the stat buffs. The Chain Gang effect seems to work as it should, but as they're both neutral cards that is going to be busted in a good deck at some point and needs keeping an eye on. The Charge effect staying makes no sense as it isn't a battlecry or a deathrattle, that just seems to be a bug.
Devs actually talked about this interaction explicitly. Saronite copying Velen is basically similar to Saronite copying Shudderwock. The Charge interaction seems iffy, I’ve managed to give Windfury to Velen but resummoned copies wouldn’t keep the enchantment.
This is certainly a bit more easy than :play Thunderbringer and Amalgam, Death Growl to give Amalgam the deathrattle for Thunderbringer, then give Amalgam taunt.
Silence, transform, remove from the game, even steal if is just one...we have crystal cavern + recurring villain, kroghar deathrattle hunter/rogue, the jailer, etc and even decks like *feel* unlimited like ress priest, nzoth rogue, etc. Don't think is that deserving of a nerf.
The warrior had to suffer extremely with his board full of velens against my starship priest. He gave all.... 35 rounds and he concedes before dying through fatigue😂 i don't know how much armor i had. Definitely more than 750 during the game. And i still had Xyrella to play. And my silence. So please guys... more of you should play this deck😂
I mean, you can always add ramp as well as hydration station to bring it back so if it died once it comes back even with devolves. To to mention more defensive tools like after shocks.
"patched" didnt blizzard say its not a bug its intendet that it worked? Also maybe not the charge thing but the infinity spot is from blizzard so planned. I mean logicly because they make the spot dranei and when that doesnt work the effect of the legendary maks no sense. Also the infinity spot is intented. Ok maybe not the charge XD Also technicly the "gang" effect on velen must be nerfed but it is like inteted. When they make the shit like "yea that didnt work anymore" without changing the text like they did everytime i am pissed. Then write the dialogs better and not nerf a logiclal interaction that you must think by everytime "did it work now or not but its logic that it work". Also when they nerf it than change also the text or make the gang not more dranei. Not like the amalgam effect what fucking makes no sense that velen shuffel a amlagman into the deck and not itself when the card text say somthing different. PS: i am wild player but the shadow priest is the biggest shit in wild whats also the reason i hate wild. Overall wild is better than standart but shadow priest must be nerfed a lot or deleted. But that will never happen. Only when a mechanic comes that can let you choose "i didnt wish to not fight agains that class" and you can choose only 1 class for that. Because than you never must face priests again XD

It's supposed to have the same interaction as with Adaptive Amalgam, with each trigger being as if it was the original minion that was played.

At 10:30 I believe the guaranteed lethal play would have been barov -> charge on barov -> trade him in… attack with 4 freshly summoned velens

Adaptive amalgam doesn't work like you said it does. It shuffles a normal 1/2 adaptive amalgam into your deck instead of Velen
I really want it to work though. Adaptive amalgam is my favorite card by far
