Day 3 "Pile Of Steaks!" Death Valley Motorcycle Camping Adventure Dual Sport Riding Firebox Stove

- At the end of crazy day three at camp I convert my two Firebox Freestyle Stoves into the Octagon Fire Pit. Set it up for charcoal and the big square grill. I'm ready to get to work. I grilled five very large "Cowboy" steaks, one medium ribeye and some pork tenderloin. I didn't have room for everything on the grill at the same time so I ran things quite hot and rotated them between a searing heat and resting. The results turned out surprisingly well with near edge to edge pinkness on most cuts.
About my camp stoves and cooking gear:
We camped out in some amazing places and ate some amazing food mostly cooked on the cool new Firebox Freestyle Modular Stove System. My company "Firebox Outdoors LLC" recently launched the Firebox Freestyle with a very successful Kickstarter campaign and have now have the Freestyle System in stock and shipping same of next business day from our website: www.fireboxstove.com/index.ph...
The Freestyle is just our newest stove. We have been designing and selling camp cooking gear for the last ten years and have many options to help make your next adventure that much more epic and delicious!

That’s an awesome motor adventure! But I got so nervous and excited at the ride in the tunnel. Beautiful views!
Thank you, it was a great trip!
Great riding, beautiful scenery and gorgeous meat! Thanks for sharing... so to speak 😄
So glad you enjoyed it! Quite a pile of 🥩 I had going there 👍😎
I've loved this series. What amazes me is that the landscape can be so brown despite the moisture that snowfall can provide.
Yes! Very interesting terrain especially compared to Utah. Thanks 👍😎
Oh man that must have been an aweslme experience and something to remember all your life!!!
Yes! It was pretty incredible 👍😎 Thanks!
Wow! Great to see, and the steaks looked amazing

Thanks for another great episode of epic desert riding. Watching you grill all that meat I noticed that I was moving my head from side to side to avoid the smoke!!
Lol that is too funny thanks for watching Richard, we are glad you enjoyed it.
👋Steve “Epic” cant wait for more!!!!

the scenery quintessentially wild western. it was like watching some cowboy movie minus the cowboy

Awesome views from the trail. Snow did not look fun at all. Now that was a great dinner.
Thank you Stacy!

Hopefully you get a nice delicious steak soon! Thanks again for watching.
@@fireboxstove yes had my a cowboy steak today 😋
Wow! That is awesome!
Thank you so much!!
Always need more cow for the grill when camping. Looks good. Lookin' forward to my freestyle set-up to arrive and use camping.
Lol isn't that the truth. Let us know what you think of your Freestyle when you get to try it out. Take care!
Riders don't even bring Spaghettio's and a can opener any more for trips. Firebox dude shows up with steak, a stove and now the camp biatch, lol!!!!!
Lol too true. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a fun time.
Thanks!
Mmmjammie. You sure know how to use that stove. My mouth is allmost dripping😋
Lol!
@@fireboxstove If your stakes taste as long as your days last you are 1 lucky man😜😘🙏🏼 good luck with day 4
Yummy !
Waaaw you are a best chef
Thank you!
Looked like a good time. All of you seemed to handle the conditions pretty well. Thanks again for taking us along. I practically had to get a bib watching you grill.
Lol! Thanks!
Looked like an exhausting but good time!
It really was, thanks for watching!
Another very enjoyable and mouthwatering vid. I was wondering near the end if there was going to be any left for the cook. Those guys were happy and no doubt impressed.
Thank you for watching Wendy! It sure was a great trip!
I see soooo many places you could have ridden next to the snow covered road with just gravel and rocks to deal with...
Best part of the ride.... at end of the day eating a nice piece of steak along with bourbon/scotch/whisky
They really are great trips. Thank you for watching!
That was some good looking meat!
Yes! A whole pile of it. Turned out pretty good for having to cook it in such an unorthodox way 👍😎
Excellent Moto travelog and cooking video! Used to live and work out there in the area (Bakersfield & Mojave). Love the DV, Panamint Valley and Lone Pine/Alabama Hills areas. Thanks for taking us along for the ride! Very enjoyable!
So glad you're enjoying it Wendell. thanks for letting me know 👍😎
Excelente 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks 👍😎
Great video as always the ride looked great and the scenery was awesome (I was born and raised in CA the mountains and the ocean are what I miss most) I can't wait for my Freestyle to arrive I'll be using right out of the box making hot cocoa for my daughter coffee for me and my wife and eggs and bacon for breakfast. The wait is killing me though 😟
We're working on getting them shipped out now but have quite a workload to get through 👍😎 thanks for hanging in there 🙏
Really surprised one does not see abandoned moto-cross bike parts scattered throughout the vast desert landscape, or an entire bike just ditched with a FREE sign on the handlebars.
Rumour has it that you have hidden a FireBox Freestyle Stove with Geocaching Coordinates in Death Valley. My posse breaks camp tonight on horseback, this video should help find that Treasure. Thanks !! First clue...The Manson Hideout. ✔
Lol! Yeah, you're on the right track. At the very least you'll find some Adventure 👍😎
@@fireboxstove I knew it....follow the tire tracks, coconut pie crumbs, steak bones, and coffee grinds. Beats tracking Goat and Dog Poop !! Turn left at the Charcoal Kilns, follow Cactus facing East. We got this....Cheers! 👁
That's awesome I think the Cerro Gordo guy has a RUclips channel I know he has a tiktok.
We'll have to check it out. Thanks for watching!
Let me accompany you, thank you very much
Thank you for watching!
I'm pretty sure there's a RUclips channel by the guy slowly restoring Cerro Gordo ghost town. I've seen the place before on RUclips.
Huh that's really interesting, we'll have to check it out. Thanks for watching!
@@fireboxstove yeah the channel is Ghost Town Living. Thanks Steve and Firebox Team, love your product, keep it up.
I'm hungry for steak
Lol! Quite a pile of beef I had going there 🤣😂 turned out pretty good!
Look at the those steaks I missed out on. Next time.
I'm looking forward to it Danen👍😎
🍻
😁😎😁😎
I have the nano in ss and the 5inch in both ss and ti. I didn’t care too much for this new model since the 5inch was plenty fun for me already. After this video I just realized how much potential the freestyle got, I mean cooking this many steaks in one setting? RIP my wallet…
LOL that's too funny. The Freestyle does offer a lot of variety. Thanks for the comment and for watching.
did ya say hi to Brent when you where in Cerro Gordo he has a you tube channel called ghost town living its good to see people visiting it its so beautiful there and dangerous
We will have to check it out. Thank you for the suggestion!
The guy who owns Cerro Gordo has a yt channel where he explores the mines and finds old pairs of jeans , pretty cool if you ever check it out
We'll have to check that out. Thanks for sharing and for watching James.
What a great trip ! Did you guys go from Darwin to Cerro Gordo off road, or back to 190 to the Saline rd to Cerro Gordo ? Hope your ankle is ok! I have to check out that stove you used !
In Argentina we call that an asado!
Thanks for sharing. Do you have your tracks posted anywhere? I would love to see what trail you took to get to cerro ghost town
Hey Steve! Sorry, I was a guest on that trip and was just following along, I don't have any of that information.
The Sierras really look dry for this time of year
Please explain what the thing coming over the horizon at 12:59 is. Btw: Taku with 'Outdoor Chefs Life' was using and casually promoting one of your Firebox stoves in his most recent episode.
That's awesome, thanks for letting us know Dan. Not sure what you saw in the video around the 12.50 ish mark. We appreciate your support.
Guess I'm close to 2
Thanks!
Hey Steve, do you think you could make a map of your trip so that we could see where you all were travelling through?
Sure would appreciate it, if it's possible. Thanks!!
I just posted a map. It's not detailed by any means but hopefully it will give you some idea of our route.
I had a KLR 650. I would never attempt anything like this on that bike.
He has a youtube channel as well
Thanks for watching!

That is a lot of meat on a stove that packs relatively small.
It does great, thanks for watching!!
How do you spell the salt you were using? Cheers
Thanks for asking, here's a link: www.fireboxstove.com/index.php?route=product/search&search=Hakata
