Small error: Indian navy isn't going to use F-18 on Vikrant. The trials between Rafale M and F-18 has concluded, and Rafale M is the winner citing similarly with IAF platforms.
But Rafale M is still not ordered
Not possible Rafale doesnt have folded wings, and the lift in INS Vikrant is 10 m in width so no chance a rafale M will be able to fit the rafale. Maybe 3rd should have this sorted :( \

Actually India need 3 more aircraft carriers which should be commissioned before 2035. Suppose China attacks Taiwan and western powers will be busy there. But after that either USA win or China we would need atleast 3 carriers for our maritime security since if one needs repair it can be docked and one that we can use for aggressive purpose reconnaissance.
For that we need more powerful economy so that we can finance the upcoming expenses.
Not aircraft carrier but submarine and artificial islands should be developed to counter any threat beacuse an aircraft carrier is very prone to missiles and if it get destroyed in any conflict it will be abilloins dollar loss
India currently has 2 nuclear submarine and the other 2 nuclear submarine is in construction. And yes India's nuclear submarines are built indegeniously. And as far as islands are concerned, then it's kinda tough and it'll cost thrice with which india can build another nuclear submarine.

India needs to stepup its efforts to dominate INDIAN OCEANS and its straits.
India required 5 nos. of aircraft carriers for defense of coastline and maritime interests. Out of 5 aircraft carriers 2 numbers are requires for bay of bengal and arabian sea. Thired one will be stationed for malacca and andaman area. Forth one will be the biggest one with nucleared power should be deployed at Indian ocean. Fifth one will be required for replacing the carrier under maintenance and guarding the cargos coming from African side.
3 are enough for now. Because it will take 10 years to build one. Navy will increase their No of carriers from 3 to 3+ only after 2035 or 2040.

Option C is the correct option. Old INS Vikrant Played a great role in 1971 war and for that honour the new INS Vikrant has commissioned with the same name. INS Vishal is on the way as the 3rd aircraft carrier, building at coching shipyard limited.

😂 doesn't work that way. Such islands will be sitting ducks for Chinese missiles. Look what happened with snake island in the Ukraine war. Neither side can hold snake island.
We should focus on more Submarines .. Atleast 4 aircraft carrier is required each for Indian Ocean Bayof Bengal and Arabian sea and one for maintenance

in the price of one aircraft carrier we get 25 warships/destoryers which will placed all over ur area or go with missile boats which costs 30-50 million. also for that same price we can have 50 submarines the space in place even pak is better than us. In a war aircraft carrier becomes an liability and needs to be hidden. instead create large naval bases on andaman n lakswadeep. indian navy currently needs submarines very badly.
