    Just searched this team up and its insane that 8 of the players in this team are playing rugby professionally. 4 in Union and 4 in League
    Mack Mason - Waratahs
    Liam Wright - Reds
    Angus Scott-Young - Reds
    Harley Fox - Connacht Rugby (Ireland)
    Izaia Perese - Played for Reds now switched to League trying to get a role in the Broncos
    Jaydyn Sua - Broncos
    Brodie Croft - Storms
    Kalyn Ponga - Knights

    Wow....this video shows that this kid has great attacking talent from set and broken play.....it will be very interesting to see how he develops as he grows up over the next 3-4 years and puts on muscle bulk. He has a great step, speed hands and pass...and his vision and backing up anticipation is awesome.
    from that video alone I have to say he is one of the best attacking junior footballers I have seen in 40 years
    Without having seen his defense though I can't comment on that side of his game

    • @RubyDoobieScoo
      @RubyDoobieScoo 10 лет назад +48

      Tyrone W No there's certainly talented players but the game is a lot more one dimensional than Union. Being highly skilled has a greater impact in Union.

    • @RubyDoobieScoo
      @RubyDoobieScoo 10 лет назад +10

      ***** At lower levels Union can be kind of ugly but with high skill levels it can be a very very fluid game to watch.

      Ruby Doobie There's hardly been a very fluid game in this Rugby Championship so far...

    • @RubyDoobieScoo
      @RubyDoobieScoo 10 лет назад +3

      Lucius Bones The passage of play is more fluid. The referees have been particularly bad these past few years and have slowed it down but when they ball is in hand it's a lot more free flowing than League.

      That's why they should both start at National Provincial level for Canterbury, then onto the Crusaders. Let them sit under the learning tree and emerse themselves into a winning culture. Don't be like Benji Marshall and sign for the crappy Blues and go straight into Super Rugby 😂 and that's coming from a staunch Hurricanes supporter. Benji should've went to the Crusaders aswell and learnt from the likes of McCaw and Dan Carter. Oh well

    He will be the best fullback to ever play the game and if he stays injury free I think he is a big chance of taking the title off Cameron Smith's all time point scoring record in 10 or so years time. Absolute gem of a player.

    • @ronanrogers4127
      @ronanrogers4127 5 лет назад

    Can anyone give me tips or drills to help me learn how to step like this? I'm aware that some of this is natural, but any help would be appreciated.

    • @zippy8055
      @zippy8055 10 лет назад

      Yes, run up and down the field side stepping off each foot, bang, bang, bang. Practice practice practice until you step without thinking about it. Do it 3 times a week in the off season and it'll soon become automatic. If you don't know the technique then you've gotta figure that out first, then comes the practice. The drill isn't important, the technique and repetition is.

    • @CathalMacCorraidh
      @CathalMacCorraidh 10 лет назад +2

      Agreed with Zippy, learn to feather your feet while you step, with light feet you can get a quick off, dont shift your bodyweight onto one foot because it will slow you down, just practise even in your garden and if you can against your mates. The hardest part isnt the step but rather the lift once you place your foot, your never entirely grounding your feet, I tend to sort of tip toe when I begin to step, my heel never touches the ground allowing me that swift move to the side because as I mentioned before I have not grounded my feet. Try to imagine light feet while you do.
