Kinda? A guy did the Sussie voice for the longest time until I think the episode where Gumball and Darwin see the world through her eyes. Then the face actress took over and did the voice. So technically in both this episode and the dream episode it isn’t the face actors voice…yet
As frustrating as he can be sometimes, in the end, we can’t really blame Gumball for his personality problems, he’s got Nicole’s furious drive and obsessive desire to get what he wants combined with Richard’s inherent stupidity, that’s a personality that is always going to go overboard on almost everything he does and just never learn how to stop.

@t-rexcellentreviews1663 besides, Gumball still won't be the exact copy of Richard since he had much better care. He's a type of guy who wants to rest every time there's a chance and not do any chores, but when the shit is serious he will go in Super Saiyan mode and complete his mission.

It's actually awesome to see how quick Gumball went from just childishly wanting to marry Penny and fearing of having kids in dress episode to actually kinda taking responsibility to have a family. Obviously, he's still a teenager and there's still enough shit in his head, but he does actually learns some lessons even if he's too narcissistic and lazy to admit them. And he's 13-14 at this point, so he definitely gets more respect compared to the likes of Mordecai
