    The Best turkish rap song ever

  • @arufaasashin5137

    8:00 Gül means rose and laugh at the same time, and in Turkish it is "senede bir de olsa gül" laugh is at the end (it's more like smile than laugh). at the other sentence, they translated it wrong as just getting that sentence.
    The part is like:
    Gene de gül bir kez be bi' kere gül ve senede bir de olsa gül
    Bu çölde yeşerir elbet
    and they translated last sentence directly but it's connected with previous, it becomes "senede bir de olsa gül Bu çölde yeşerir elbet" and it means "A rose, even once a year, will surely bloom in this desert." too.

    Bro hard to translate this song. For example. There is a saying in Turkish that " a cup of coffee commits one to forty years of friendship". I translated as i can but true world is not commits and friendship. İts about giving importance who helping to u, talking with you or just give u just a coffee and talks. Time is the most important thing and u have to give at least the same to him/her for 40 years. And this may give an oppurtunity to raise flowers(being good) in desert(merciless world) its just 2 sentences. Or sagopa talks about celendar. In turkey every man have to go army for 6 months and its really hard times. And he says "im the page of that celender. And just give me 2 minutes to understand what i say."

    Ceza, used to write mostly about people and our nation's problem... Politicaly, socially... Society's emotions... etc. U get the idea...
    Sagopa on the other hand, always wrote about the mankind. Personal emotions.. How a human feels and human see's the personal things around it. (Thats why he called pessimist, that's a nickname he feels himself comfortable with, at least he used to.)
    In this song which most of the people accepts as national anthem of Turkish Rap, Ceza talks about society and Sagopa makes the same picture about the person itself. So they are talking about same thing, but scale is different. Ceza makes it public Sagopa makes it personal. Mixing it with their representitive in Rap picture withc such lyrics as : "Sagopa & Ceza, shackles for rap" or Sagopa's last words on his verse...
    So it's not like they dont represent themselves, it's just, this song, being a lot about what you find in it... That's why it's a good art. That's why people love it. ^^
    Edit 1 : Oh and Ceza raps slowly in this song due to Sagopa's slow pace. If you can check Medcezir or Rapstar, you'll see, he was fatalryhmer back then aswell. It's just, this is a feat and both respecting eachother. But if you still wanna hear a flex in this song; listen second verse of Ceza one more time without pausing it, realize he has a punch at the end of a fullflex. I used to sing this part when i was a kid, that was my first introduction to rap music. ^^
    Edit 2 : Im a loser is a bit of wrong translation. He means, "Im lost, Ive just lost a battle." Song continues like, "Dear god, I'm ashamed of my youth" so you can guess why he thinks he lost something... ^^
    Edit 3 : Punishment means Ceza.. So it's a two sided sentence one which means he has punishments in his life, second is he's referring to Ceza that Ceza is always there for him. So yeah... It's sad to see them seperated..
    Edit 4 : At the end of the video, you saw the connection between lyrics, yes, it can devoted to God aswell since gül (Rose) is representitive of Hz. Muhammed (Prophet of Islam) But it can also mean something different aswell. It depends on how you are feeling at that moment and how you wanna see it. ^^

    These words are so immitional bro. But Turkish is so rich and poetic language, there is so many synanoms and so many tricks to mean something. So when i try to translate English, English becomes so poor to explain what you mean in a song. So as you know when you write words for a song u use some poetric tellings with your languages limits. Sagopa and ceza are using the limits of Turkish to highest limits. When u think to rich of Turkish its being really hard to translate. And loose its meanings as half. İf you knew Turkish u could understand what i mean. We have 300 ways to mean something. When u play with this language as a LEGO the songs are getting extremely powerfull. When u try to explain in another language you sweep that power on the words. Finally be sure of meaning of this words are much more stronger then u can imagine ;)

    Laugh translation in turkish is gül it is a instruction verb version but Gül which is noun is rose . So they are written same but differs in meaning. So i think they use spesificly "rose" as a flower to rhyme better . I think only mean is ; conditions can be bad, can be seen as nothing can happen but who know it can be a flower can occur in desert. Smth. like that i think.

    In this desert without even water. Actually like this;
    In this desert with non-flowing water
    My step to be buried with my poems. Actually like this;
    My name will be buried with my poems.
    Am I living with a thousand restraints and a thousand punishments? Actually like this;
    Am I living forever with a thousand restraints and a thousand punishments?...

    Garden is human like human psyche, we are all capable of both good and bad, if you give water to garden inside( feeding the good side by doing good) then it becomes a garden full of flowers . Otherwise the desert will takeover (bad emotions take over you). But even in the desert, there are flowers like rose, ceza says there are also fountains if you look for them. So it’s never too late and it’s all up to oneself.
    They were against each other for many years, they still do after this song, but this song was like cease fire between them. Acknowledging we are all just human. And besides their differences they are highlighting something they have in common which is RAP
    This is full of allegory and metaphors, translation is not good, some parts are just wrong. And there are also some lines that are just there for rhymes.
