Hey there! Oh man, your channel is a gem. I'm a Lebanese born and raised in the US. I've always enjoyed learning about the European medieval life and it was taught in schools pretty prevelantly. But I wanted to know more about my side of the world, and found the mainstream resources less available. Anyways, fast forward to finding your channel and I'm in nerd heaven. On top of the great info you present, its also very professionally done with great care. I'm so excited to dive more into this info. Kudos to you brother, you should be proud of these fantastic videos!

Fantastic! Textile trade from the Arab world to Eruope was prolific, Europe sought silks and cottons and the Arab world sought European wool and linen. Obviously Italy was the epicenter of this trade which is why you see Arabic influences in Itaian fashions.

      (2) Arabized people groups : Levantic people groups such as Syrians, Jordanians, Palestinians, Iraq, Lebanese and so forth. These people groups originally had their own languages, until the Arab invasion of their lands and with Islamization, they became Arabized gradually by adopting Arabic . @@greatarabia8091 levant abs North Africa are not Arab they are arabnised! Arabs come from Arabian pensuila Now most people would say that the Muslim invasions have ended the old civilizations and peoples who were replaced by Arab people and Arabic language. The Arabs were a minority, they did not have the huge populations of Levant, Egypt or Mesopotamia, a city like Constantinople would have had more people than most of the Arabian Peninsula. Having these people replaced by ethnic Arabs in 2000 years is impossible, for reference the entire peninsula is barely hitting 50 Million including Yemen. North Africa and the Levantine are at 349 million
So the people who had lived there for at least 5000 years have not been the exact same, but they did not have enough diverting genes to make them that whole lot different from Europeans. Many Levantine people would have a somewhat white skin and soft hair akin to the Turks who came later and mixed with the locals.

However if you are a shia seminary student you would wear a black turban if you're a descendant of the prophet or a white turban if you're not, this is also continued to this day.

They would wear this because they were either on Camel back or horse back. So it wouldn't make sense to wear a long thobe because then the thobe would tear when mounting the Camel. They would wear an outer garment yes. Also turban yes. And stick yes. Shoes was mostly saddles. Tailor made sandles was for the rich like mus'ab ibn umair before I he accepted Islam.
