I just bought the Arc 6 with the cleaning station. Not a lot of info online on doing the cleaning station process. Especially filling the system bowl with the right amount of water vs detergent. Appreciate your effort here. It’s exactly what I’ve been searching for. Keep your content coming, mate! 👍👏
If you use the manual cleaning method, you can also hold down the power button for 2-3 seconds after you've applied the detergent (aka Dawn) on start-up and the razor will go into what is a hyper-cleaning mode, where the blades vibrate and suposedly clean more thoroughly. It's a very short timed cycle.
Panasonic across ALL electronics is KING! I've owned many of their TV'S, recorders and HiFi stereos over a 30 year period and they've never failed me. You just cannot beat Japanese quality and technology. I'll be buying this product for sure
Hello. The shaver also has a cleaning mode. You hold the button down for more than two seconds, and the shaver goes into higher speed. This will run for 20 seconds.Have a good day.Like your channel !
I just purchase my Panasonic ES-LV95 shaver and just love it. Thanks for sharing this video on the cleaning machine. I would have never knew how to clean my shaver without your video. Thanks again.
Thanks for this, man. I just got mine. Wild how they don't include this info in the instructions!!?! I guess I don't need to clean it for a week or so, except with the brush? Just charge, oil & go? Many thanks 💚🙏
The instructions say that the entire sachet of detergent is to be used each time the tray is filled to the required mark. On my version ES-LV9U there is a sonic mode which can be switched on by pressing the on/off button for more than two seconds. This minimises splashing. It switches off after 20 seconds, or can be manually switched off by pressing the power switch.
you're very welcome. this was some of my first RUclips video. you know it's hard for ever first time working with camera. but I try. thanks for your Support 🙏
Just a quick note. You don't have to use the cleaning fluid. You can manually clean it by removing the foil part of the razor, use the supplied brush to remove as much loose hair as possible and then rinse under the tap with warm water and then pop the top back on then just put it in the station and select dry only.
When you put the razer inn the station and don't press anything it will just charge the razer, but then if you press the select button then it will clean dry and charge . I have the new model of this razer it's great thanks for the video my friend 👍👍
If you clean the shaver manually, you need to put the shaver in the CLEAN MODE. This is done by pushing and holding the power button for over three seconds. You will hear the sound change to a fast vibration mode for cleaning. Read the instructions carefully. The method you demonstrated is NOT CORRECT, but should not damage the shaver. The real CLEANING MODE is much simpler and better.
I left mine in window seal so be careful as the thin plastic got distorted on the inside (Stilk Looks New), but I had to use screwdriver to open and fill the basin for self cleaning mode.
I have the same shaver but not with the cleaning system. I put off the blades and just rinse it with hot water under the tap, it even has that supersonic buzz. It does the same and is not so expensive.
What's the proper water level in the cleaning station? Fill up with water to the line then add the solution or the combined level of water + solution should not exceed the water line?
Best electric razor I've ever had. Unfortunately I cannot buy the cleaning station because the model I have is not compatible with the station. I have to use an old tooth brush to clean it. But that's fine. The razor is still great
Just put liquid hand soap and water on it and hold the button down for greater than two seconds and I will put it into a clean mode for 20 seconds then you just rinse it off. It has a self cleaning system that way. You still have to figure out a way to lube the inners
This guy takes 19 minutes to explain what I can explain in 3 minutes. This is one reason why I would rather Google search for an answer in text rather than to watch RUclips tutorials.
Good video except instructions say to use the entire packet of detergent mixed with the water not just a little bit as you suggest. Probably works either way.
my guy in the manual it says pour the whole detergant into the water and it will last about 30 days if used once a day not alittle bit changed every 7 days
I've own the Panasonic Arc3 ES-LT41 since 2015 and just got my Arc5 ES-LV95-S. Wow, I was SUPER impressed with the 5 blades and how close it shaved when compared to the Arc3 ES-LT41
I purchased this Panasonic Arc 5 ( with auto cleaning station) to replace a 3 year old Braun 5. The Braun battery crapped out after 3 years. Wasn't going back to Braun. I'm hoping this shaver last longer than 3 years. This video was helpful as the manual doesn't do a good job of going through the features of the cleaning unit, etc. So I'm reading opposing comments both on the # of days before changing out the cleaning fluid and the amount of cleaning fluid to use. The unit comes with one package of cleaning detergent so I'm sure you need to order more as LOE indicates in this video. Not sure on the # of days between changing out the cleaning fluid reservoir ? Is it 14 days or 30 days ? FYI, I use my shaver typically 5 days /week. Again, nice review LOE.
It's fairly easy to replace the battery in these panasonic units. The owners manual says it's not user serviceable, however all it takes it 7 screws to get at the battery. Battery resembles a single AA style, but is lith-ion type. Can find on amazon or ebay.
Nice video but a couple points of clarification. You first put the entire packet of cleaning solution in then fill with water to the line. This will last you for about 30 days.
Thanks for the video, however I tried to use the button on the side to open it and mine wouldn’t open at all. I was like I know that there is a tray in there but I couldn’t get mine to pop up and open. So I’m going to take mine back and get a refund
Hi. Thanks for your video. It was very helpful. I got one and I love it . Absolutely was worth it. When I cleaned with hand soup, should I put it on vibration system or leave it running like when you shave? Please let me know. Can I use it while I’m talking shower or the water going to causes problems with the system?
do the cleaning mode press and hold for 3 seconds for the cleaning mode. or you can also let it run just like you are shave is really not going to do anything to the system. for me personally I let it run like I'm shave
Cleaning manually is for people who don't have the cleaning system. and by cleaning manually going to help reduce all the dirt from your cleaning system
The manual makes it sound like you need to put in the entire detergent package into the container when mixing with water. Is this not true? If not, how much do you use?
My brother has one but his makes a beeping noise when it is in the maching in the cleaning mode but not when charging or drying just in cleaning mode. Is that normal???
Hey man sorry for the late reply. you do not have to use mineral water I put water in the empty bottle just for the video but in this video I wasn't using mineral water. so you can go ahead and use any type of water so long is clean water. I hope this helps

I got mine this week and I'm loving it! Mainly use it to shave my head
Thank you very much. I purchased this machine but I couldn't find anything else which explains properly how to use it.❤

Probably the sensor the detects more hairs thinks its on a large beard and moves faster
Really
I used to remove outer blades wash in separate then press for seconsa till vibrating mode (cleaning) and keep it under tap water till stop.
@MegaMikeArnold…..Why would this pertinent info not be in the printed manual?
Panasonic suggests replacing the water-detergent solution in the cleaning station every 30 days, if you shave everyday.

@@Loverofengines101 If its not broke dont fix it lol. Some people that have had both say the 5 shaves closer
When you put the razer inn the station and don't press anything it will just charge the razer, but then if you press the select button then it will clean dry and charge . I have the new model of this razer it's great thanks for the video my friend 👍👍

Please are there any videos of reconnecting or replacing the display panel on a Panasonic ES 8249 shaver. Mine has stopped displaying

The Arc 6 manual says the battery will only last 3 years, I would imagine the same with the Arc 5?
Thanks brother
Thank you for this video. The instruction manual is pretty weak explaining what you need to do.
Excellent video….good explanations….thanks!!

Thanks For Your Review!
What cover was taken off the shaver before he cleaned it?
There's a plastic button on the bottom that needs to be pushed in if the cleaner doesn't pop up when hitting the black button on the side.

If you clean it manually with water, you only select “dry” on the cleaning station, there’s no need to clean and dry.
Cleaning manually is for people who don't have the cleaning system. and by cleaning manually going to help reduce all the dirt from your cleaning system
The manual makes it sound like you need to put in the entire detergent package into the container when mixing with water. Is this not true? If not, how much do you use?
