I believe that a purpose any woman carries, she ripples the effect of her impact to many beyond her imagination
This year for the Beauty With A Purpose, I wanted to challenge my reach not just as an entrepreneur in the making but an hopeful citizen of the World.I present a project that provided electricity to the people of Upardangadi. For sustainability of our project, we also tapped onto their pre-existing skill set for economy to flourish at our project site. We have neatly tapped onto Honey-Bee farming and Home-Stay business from which our people now generate proper financial income that helps them pay for the electricity they use.Finally, with generous assistance from our donors, were also able to
1. Build a community hall with an Attached toilewhere each person comes in with full ownership of the place and learns from the trainings we provide. This is also used as a recreational building for the people running homestay businesses and finally, the school come in for their extracurricular activities in here.
2. Refurbished the school buildings with proper ceilings and walls alongside a quarter for the teachers to live in.
