I was tracking a level 8 red fox and saw a level 4 albino Bison, I couldn't pass up on that. He's standing proud at the end of the bed in the Saseka trophy lodge.
I like Hirschfelden. For fast money, I like to hunt the bison and the red deer. I like all the animals on this map. I generally will use the .300 for the bison, the .30-06 for most of the other game, and the .243 for fox and roe deer. I will occasionally hunt with the bow and the .454. I also like to use the .22 for rabbits and the goose. Sometimes I will use the shotgun and use a variety of shells (birdshot/buckshot/slugs) for rabbits up to red deer. Great video as always.
I've never forwarded time and usually explore the map quite a bit, but recently I've been liking the Ritterstein Lake Outpost. I've been setting up more equipment in the area and just discovered some burrows on the other side of the lake from the outpost.

I gotta agree with ya that this is a very beautiful map. It's one of my favorites. Being able to hunt almost all the missions with either the .243 Ranger, Zarza-10, or the Sundburg .454 is an added bonus for me. I think I'm gonna spend a day or so searching for all the drink zones. This video just reminded me of how helpful knowing those can be.

As I hunt A LOT on Hirschfelden, as it is basically where I live but upgraded with more animals, I’ll say the best place to hunt on this map is up in the top right corner around the Müllerwald outpost. The fields are absolutely loaded and the lake up there is incredible for pretty much everything. The red deer Ive been getting there are also consistently in the open to get them basically for free. Lovely map.
When I 1st started the game I didn't enjoy Hirschfelden. But with updates and improvement of my skills and equipment I fine it to by a go to after a break from the game

The entire flats area during bison and moose times is now crawling with wolves and they just were not there before! So I am going to switch to Hirschfelden for a while , and use this guide. I’m a little annoyed, I was continuing my red deer great one grind earlier today and used the 300 on a level 7, and after tracking it down I saw it was an albino. It made silver instead of gold. I couldn’t tell it was albino because he was standing in the shade and it made him look darker. It was on Te Awaroa.
I'm sorry to hear that. Don't worry. I did the same thing (twice). Shot 2 level 7 melas with the 300 in the dark :(. Oh well. they're still beautiful in the lodge!

Got my first diamond last night on Hirschfelden. Dark Grey Roe Deer. Walked right under my tripod while I was hunting Red Deer. My first trophy in my lodge. ;-) Nice vid. Great info!
Easily the best map for me. It's beautiful, the topography is great, the forests r dense. Always surprised when there's an animal just through the bushes. Love hunting red deer, fallow and all the small critters too
Immediately after watching this I found my first ever piebald and it was a fallow dear 😂 although he was running and I messed up my shot Bcs I was so nervous and it dropped out of diamond Bcs of a non lethal :(

Hirsch was(!) my favorite map. Yesterday I had a chance to play several hours on it. It must be a bug or something but if I use the red deer caller (or maybe another I was working on reds yesterday) on cornfields, geese start to come. But like flock after flock, making terrible background noise. It is quite subltle during gameplay, you know, it is a hunting game, don't be surprised if there are animals around but after finishing the play I could imaginerry hear the bastards for hours ocasionally.
I just spent SO LONG tracking a level 8 mythical red fox and ended up reaching a dead end. I'm beating myself up about not carrying a rifle with the correct caliber at that moment because if I had I could have taken it down 😢
I was cruising along a road on the quad today when a melanistic roe deer nearly knocked me off the damn quad. If I had seen this video before I would have tracked it. However, I am going to assume that it won't disappear from the area, right?

It's possible. Just very difficult to find all of your feed zones because if you're missing a pile of zones, your respawns may stop. Some species are more picky with having all of your zones than others. Whitetail want you to have your zones. Moose don't seem to care lol

You forgot to compensate for wind at 200m for the red fox shot. Most of the time wind doesn't effect bullets, unless it's 150m+
