This is what I needed - Regular real conversations first without translation and then again with the subtitles. This is actually really simple but at the same time so brilliant and lots of teachers worldwide do not apply methods like this and you spend a year or two struggling with grammar and written vocabulary which you soon forget simply because you don't use it in a real context. And on top of this you have the visual aid with the pictures! Thank you, thank you, thank you

What you say is exactly right. I know maybe 4000 Russian words, and I know the grammar pretty well. But when I speak I make errors, such as saying 'ya bil v park' instead of 'ya bil v parke' And every teacher i find then spends 10 minutes explaining the rule about the case, even though I know it and they could get me to correct myself, but instead we spend 80 percent of the lesson with the teacher telling me the grammar rules over and over, rather than focusing on my being able to talk with mistakes. It makes me spend time teaching myself using these videos, as I do not need endless explanations on stuff I know, just speaking practice with mild correction. Sadly most teachers of russian want you to do endless grammar exercises and never give you the chance to actually speak.

Es una excelente pronunciacion. Vivo en Rusia, soy autididacta y este video lo escuchó un grupo de 14 rusos nativos que lo aprueban. Cada region tiene acentos, asi como hay gente que le gusta criticar por afición.

You know the thing is that, I know it's so fast but then again there is just no other way for her to say it, I don't know how slow you want her to go. Then again if you want to catch up go to the menu look for playback speed, joy.

I'm Russian and the problem with understanding russian language is that we use slang A LOT. Much more than english speakers. So, almost nobody speaks russian "right".

0:45 IS NOT TRANSLATED CORRECTLY. It is asking a question but you translated to a statement. It's asking, "May I look at the book on that shelf? Not "I would"

The English subtitle translations are not literal, which makes it impossible to learn the Russian vocabulary correctly. Can you please update with more accurate English translations?
