I bet it was an auto yard with shop that either went out of business or ownership died and it has been sitting for over 40 years. I bet there is a ton of undiscovered gem's buried in that mess. Cool adventure for sure.
that's what i'm thinking(auto/scrap yard) but probably abandoned in the last 20 years. due to the high humidity there things rust and fall apart significantly faster. but looks like they just moved everything that was on the property into piles and left them there probably so the land around it could be used.
10:10 Its a '66-'69 Toyota P20 Publica, it has an almost 800cc 2U engine. Fun fact ,the P20 Publica was the basis of the Toyota Sports 800 which was thr precursor to the 2000GT
I think that's the first time ive ever heard a Police siren in a Sammit video besides them shutting down a Diakoku PA meet. Thought they were coming for you for a second! Haha stay safe out there man. We need this golden footage you provide✌🏾💪🏾much love dude. U da man Sam!
Sammit you always crush it with the content and off to an epic start for 2024 and thanks so much for taking us along and letting us be able to experience and geek out on everything with you cause I know i do and you make it feel like we're there with you so thanks for that and I cant wait to see what you have in store for the rest of the year I know it's gonna be epic and I'm here for every min and as ways keep up the great work 👍
Dude I wish I could save one of those C3s so I can put it next to my grandfather's c2. That would be the biggest dream of mine, restoring one of those old vettes and bring it to Florida to restore it would be awsome being able to see a car that's been sitting to driving witha beaut of some kind of lumpy cam with some Japan styling where it came from
If you are near the 246-16 interchange, there were a bunch (or maybe still some) shops that worked on and sold foreign cars. That would be near where Naval Station Kamiseya was and Atsugi is.
The little red car is a mini. They used to have a sedan/saloon style but the hatchback was the more produced body style. No mistaking that rear quarter window of the “Z”.
I friggin love when you do these kind of vids sammit! I love all your content. Just this is so soothing.. some of the craziest cars i've ever seen just abandoned as if they were nothing..
Sammit you need to turn this into a series The Adventures of Sammit and Daiki and i wont take the credit ill let you have it haha but i will watch every episode and im sure alot of other people would to but still continue with the other content also and as always keep up the great work 👍
Sammit those keyholes on the fender were the OG alarms from the 80’s my dad had a 77’ stingray corvette mint condition and his had that keyhole as well. You would turn your key in there after locking up to arm the alarm
There’s a lot of places like that here in the US also! It’s Sad to see some of the things you see! And really sad to see the trash that people are just throwing away! I’ve seen big screen old TVs thrown in the middle of a creeks and springs that makes no sense at all! Older people used to have no where to take things so most of them had a hollow or valley that they took metal and old junk to and then they had planned to bury it and some did but some didn’t live long enough and it’s just left there for the next generation to take care of!
I love these videos, it makes me happy to see and sad to see these cars at the same time. I wonder what really happend in there, I think that it was some kind of a junkyard for a while and then became an illegal dump. But who knows. Its really sad to see the z just left there to rot and Im not even talking about the corvettes, they gotta be so rare in japan and to see them just rot like this is really depressing.
Nice Exploration Sam! I think it was just an abandoned Junkyard that became a dumping ground. But please get gloves next time, and a parang for chopping the vines.
Almost certainly an old scrapyard. If it worked anything like scrap yards in the US, those cars were stacked to save space. Over time, they probably became more and more unstable which led to the stacks falling over and depositing some cars upside down. The roof vette and red vette dont even look bad. Probably even savable if you could get paperwork.
Given the location I’d say it’s most likely an old chop shop. Get rid of the highway and the gravel on the road leading there. Why would it be so far tucked back away from prying eyes. The highway project came through and they stumbled upon it and took the land back. That’s based on an educated guess of previous employment thought process.
its important to remember not all of these cars can be saved because not everybody is a car enthusiast , we are a rare bunch that see old & abandonded cars with vision most people lack , our imagination takes us to a place where that wreck in a feild is back driving down the highway looking like new , it will always be painful to us to see them in that state but aslong as we save the ones we can we are doing the right thing
There's currently a set of A70 Supra tail lights for sale for £1200 (about 235000 jpy), so crazy to see one just buried there and I bet the tail light clusters are mint
I know firsthand that agriculture fields would not be beside a junkyard in Canada. Those cars are leaking all sorts of stuff into the ground and it goes right into your food.
So the key is for the alarm system that the old cars used to have are Corvettes they were also lock the Hood from people opening and breaking in through the window we still keep the engine safe
The corvettes need to return home. It's almost reminds of fallen shoulders that never got to return home😢 my dad recently pick up a 81 c3 they are still pretty cheep still but makes me sad that they are just sitting there.
Surely some of the cars have fenders, bonnets, rear arches, doors etc that if you took them off, you'd probably be able to sell them to classic car owners looking for spare parts for restoration.
Work out a deal with that City In Japan where you would get payed an hourly rate to clear the land. And you can recycle all the crap and keep all the cars that have good parts on them and part them out
i bet under all those bushes theres probably still some cool somewhat salvageable stuff, shame that all of this just got dumped to rot like that. always a bit sad to see what were probably someone's dream cars at one point in such a state just gone forever for whatever reason, the stories behind how they ended up there are probably all pretty boring but they're all cars that were loved by someone at some point in time and now here they are rusting away buried under vegetation
If you know where that location is, you can go into google maps and put it in, and when you find it, there should be an option to go back in time, so MAYBE you could find what this place really was before this
I bet it was an auto yard with shop that either went out of business or ownership died and it has been sitting for over 40 years. I bet there is a ton of undiscovered gem's buried in that mess. Cool adventure for sure.
less than 40, 30 at most since there was a celsior
20 years would be my guess
Not that old, that truck cab in the workshop was 2000s
that's what i'm thinking(auto/scrap yard) but probably abandoned in the last 20 years. due to the high humidity there things rust and fall apart significantly faster. but looks like they just moved everything that was on the property into piles and left them there probably so the land around it could be used.
What a fun adventure!!! Thanks for sharing this!

Easy to restore fiberglass bodies 🤷♂️ could have a whole corvette drift team😂
I can already tell this is gonna be a banger, a sad banger but a banger.
The key in the fender should be an old school alarm system
Dude a full drift c3 corvette would be sick.. !!
Fr
I wonder why these cars where abandoned... maybe they forgot the transmission oil😜 DAMNIT SAMMIT. Love your videos keep it up😊
You need to rescue a Vette and make it a drift missile. It would be wild seeing one going sideways in japan
Definitely would be trying to get the black C3 corvette down and use it as a track car. Build something crazy out of it.
I think that's the first time ive ever heard a Police siren in a Sammit video besides them shutting down a Diakoku PA meet. Thought they were coming for you for a second! Haha stay safe out there man. We need this golden footage you provide✌🏾💪🏾much love dude. U da man Sam!

I thought it might be, was hoping to see the headlights to confirm it!
It was called a ralye elf and was like a rip off of the mini with like a bentley front grile and more luxurous
I'm pretty sure it's a P20 Toyota Publica , you can tell by the beltline on the side of the car
Lol Daiki saying "whooaaaa what the hell" 😂
I friggin love when you do these kind of vids sammit! I love all your content. Just this is so soothing.. some of the craziest cars i've ever seen just abandoned as if they were nothing..
I first thought that was a Toyota 2000GT in the thumbnail
Ikr
Looks like a 240z to me
I thought that at first but looking at the shape of the quarter glass it's definitely a 240Z
That would be insane if it was who would even do that to a 2000gt but it’s still sad that it’s a 240 Z
Awesome video as always Sammit. It's always interesting to explore abandoned places and think of what has happened there in the past.
The glass and hoods rear end gears and motors in those vetts are worth alot of money
So sad to see but at the same time so cool to see nature taking it back
Key on the fender would be for an alarm. I restored about 20 of those cars you’re in America in Michigan.
We need a roadkill style rescue for one of these.
Riley's swap sittin in that A70.. 😆😆😉
I love seeing u come back to old spots I remember when there was a green field
I wanna save that black c3 on the roof and the Z soo bad! Maybe if you can, you could rescue that Z and build it with May.
This is awesome. I'm really digging these video's.
love the vids sam keep up the great work dude.. BUILD THE DREAM!!
Daiki’s laugh 5:58 😂😂😂😂
Yesssssssssssssssss love these. But they are sad 😢
SAMMIT UR KILLING ME HERE IMA CRY
so glad you went back ive been thinking about tis place since your last vid here
Great video, I remember when that was all green. Thanks for returning
With how strict Japan was with Ebisu cleaning up every single speck of dirt I'm surprised something like this can happen and just sit there polluting.
The keyhole on the white C3 is the lock on the fender is for the factory alarm before it got integrated with the drivers side door lock.
7:19
Key on fender for car alarm👍🇺🇸
I love ur exploring videos the most 👍👌 very dope! Keep doing these! 🎥
Sammit you need to turn this into a series The Adventures of Sammit and Daiki and i wont take the credit ill let you have it haha but i will watch every episode and im sure alot of other people would to but still continue with the other content also and as always keep up the great work 👍
I Think the Small car under Both c3's is trabant
Key hole in the fender is how car alarms worked before key fobs were a thing.
Seeing all those old rotted stingrays is a trip. Cool adventure.
Love how both me and Sam had the exact same reaction to seeing the A70’s tails and realising what it was lmao
Omg you two would make the perfect couple...
@@nickhutt6264 nah we’re both taken
haha@@anusername8350
CLEAN UP DAY needed here
Sammit those keyholes on the fender were the OG alarms from the 80’s my dad had a 77’ stingray corvette mint condition and his had that keyhole as well. You would turn your key in there after locking up to arm the alarm
Buy the lot, would make some great content digging that stuff out. Sell it to scraper and sell the land back off
seeing that A70 like that made me wanna cry 😢
Should take a couple of the c3 corvettes and make it a complete corvette
Memories and terrible heart breaks amongst the rubble
It kinda looks like the area accesible in a certain season when the plants die down.

Cool video but sad story. Anyway
It would totally be so cool if you got one of them abandoned C3's for a dift missile 💥
Yay the abandons car videos are bac 😢rip to the cars
I love these videos, it makes me happy to see and sad to see these cars at the same time. That little red car I think is a very old Toyota
Toyo pet 👍👍🇦🇺
The black car @17:05 is a Nissan Gloria I believe. Only can tell from prizzamikes Gloria. Has the same badge and same twilight shape.
Funny thing is while Sam was discovering that that property is a dumping yard I was taking part of a big ass dump too!!!!
7:16 old school key arm/disarm security system.
We need to find some back stories about this place sammit
Nice Exploration Sam! I think it was just an abandoned Junkyard that became a dumping ground. But please get gloves next time, and a parang for chopping the vines.
Car at 10:00 is a Riley Elf, basically a fancy version of the classic mini
I think it's actually a Toyota Publica.
@@RobGras Ah I think your right! I see the same body line on the rear quarter, good spot lol

Grab the engine blocks!🤠👍
I wonder how many times he said "illegal dumping zone" 😭😭

(Opens with sad music)
"WHAT IS UP GUYS!!!"
The little red car under the Corvette on the roof looks like a Hillman Imp, UK car, hence why it's right-hand drive, although I could be wrong
That key cylinder in the fender was for arming the alarm system of the car
It’s always a good vid when daiki is in it
Key on the fender on some cars was like an after market immobilizer. atleast it was on one of my old cars!!
I know firsthand that agriculture fields would not be beside a junkyard in Canada. Those cars are leaking all sorts of stuff into the ground and it goes right into your food.
My 2 Nissan are cheap rescues and more loyal for it. Rescue a grass hero today!
Awesome video interesting to see how many cars where there 🤘🤘
Got bit motion sick watching but awesome video 😎😎🤘
Save the red one 🙏🙏
The keyhole on the white Vette was a factory alarm.
17:36 might be the front grille from a Honda Legend?
I really wanted you to climb up and check that corvette on the roof. If was any good you could see about saving it
Ol chop shop with all the crushed and stripped cars
So the key is for the alarm system that the old cars used to have are Corvettes they were also lock the Hood from people opening and breaking in through the window we still keep the engine safe
Looks like this will have to be another place to visit when I go to Japan… that’s if I can find it👀 I would need to know what all the cars are
Those wheels on the black Corvette on the roof need to be saved
The corvettes need to return home. It's almost reminds of fallen shoulders that never got to return home😢 my dad recently pick up a 81 c3 they are still pretty cheep still but makes me sad that they are just sitting there.
Come on Sam it's a 240fairlady datsun
That Black C3 Corvette on the roof looks like it could be saved you should save it and put a ZJ or RB in it
would be a cool and nice thing to clean it up and get most of it scraped and get some money out of it
If I recall, they key on the side of the hood there is for an early security system. (Which may mean just a lock for opening the nose.)
Key in the fender is a security system.
Finally got access Sam anything for sale
Surely some of the cars have fenders, bonnets, rear arches, doors etc that if you took them off, you'd probably be able to sell them to classic car owners looking for spare parts for restoration.
What would be the legality of loading them up and weighing them in for scrap? There’s an absolute fortune sat there!
That's what I'm curious abt in a.erica if somthing is abandoned for long enough with Noone claiming it as theirs u can claim it
Work out a deal with that City In Japan where you would get payed an hourly rate to clear the land. And you can recycle all the crap and keep all the cars that have good parts on them and part them out
That V6 24V grille was from a first gen Honda Legend.
The Corvette probably weren't worth crushing because they're fiberglass bodies.... But they'll rot away underneath as it's metal underneath
i bet under all those bushes theres probably still some cool somewhat salvageable stuff, shame that all of this just got dumped to rot like that. always a bit sad to see what were probably someone's dream cars at one point in such a state just gone forever for whatever reason, the stories behind how they ended up there are probably all pretty boring but they're all cars that were loved by someone at some point in time and now here they are rusting away buried under vegetation
Maybe you could find some old photos of the area online somewhere? Before and After!!
Key on a fender like that usely means there was a alarm on it
Keeps getting better and worse as the video goes on. I love how you can find these cars but I hate how they’ve been ditched.😢
Sam, if the Vette with side pipes has a 4 speed, that is probably a big block car which can potentially be a very rare car
would love to see a 68 corvette drift build
If you know where that location is, you can go into google maps and put it in, and when you find it, there should be an option to go back in time, so MAYBE you could find what this place really was before this
bruh thanks to your comment I just found out about this and I've been running around my hometown from 2012 streetview lol
@SHIZURAKU xDDD
The red car under the corvette looks to be a Daihatsu Compagno Berlina 2 door.
