ive witnessed everything, i started playing before the game had the radio, i was one of the first testers in this game even. ive made some cool friends in the discord server, but eventually they all left the server and stopped playing the game because jandel was making too many paid updates. tbh ive been very inactive and stopped playing that game, that game is now ruined. man, i miss the times when the server was fresh, some good memories.

This is the sad thing about good games. Once the developer loses their passion in what they did they'll become too focused on cash or quit they're game. If they choose to focus on earning money from the game they'll ONLY focus on getting a payed way for already existing free things. @@hoonteri1760 The only game Jandel didn't kill completely is Rolling Thunder and RT PVE, both games suddently stopped getting updates in 2023, BUT, while jandel abandoned them (for good, both games are almost fair with barely any passes or other microtransactions compared to dusty trip), PVE still at consistent 100 player mark cause well, it's PVE, you fight against bots, games where you can play without other players are technically on indestructible life support.

Funny. During the Classic event, people were singing praises about a dusty trip; I was apparently the only person who thought it was rancid dogshit. Now I wonder if Jandel paid people to say the game was "fun".
It was quite a long one, I had to re-do it 2 more times because I had missed a Classic event coin, and on one of those times my game crashed mid way, so that was a frustrating experience
I think they removed those features because of not adding them to the other microtransaction and quest cars. Why? You may ask, well maybe because jandel is lazy.

Although these details gave more personality to the game, I prefer the new one because it’s more simple and doesn’t require much thinking. After all, ADT is a “party” game, it’s made to be a chaotic co-op, so stuff like this doesn’t surprise me. You will only notice or even care about these changes if you play alone, in which case, you should get more friends. Before some people scream at me, I do agree that Singleplayer should get attention too, but if you care about stuff that doesn’t interrupt the actual gameplay then it is a “you” problem.
kind of see your point but eh. the cactus change arguably makes the game less enjoyable as they just become solid obstacles. The older version would allow you to plough through em in case you needed to make an emergency turn off the road albeit with the trade-off of damage (or just for fun). The scrubbing thing doesn't change much but it does remove some ability to customise your vehicle. Though it does seem more tedious than just having the wiper touch the car and immediately make it grey - simply reducing the time needed/number of scrubs needed to change the rust state of a part would fix this though. Removing sounds for killing stuff is just lame imo - less satisfying to kill. The gun also reduces the threat of mutants significantly, making them more of a nuisance than an actual threat. Part of the fun of a "chaotic co-op" is having your friends scramble to deal with enemies. Head movement reacting to sudden brakes is just a cool detail. Not necessary but still nice for that extra bit of immersion.
