- Nunavut is Canada’s northernmost territory home to thousands of Indigenous peoples. When ransomware attacked and shut down the Government of Nunavut, their IT team turned to Microsoft for support. Services like Sentinel and Defender use Microsoft AI to detect and deflect potential threats, keeping Nunavut safe and secure.

I remember the weeks/months of the ransomware attack on Nunavut Government system. My mom's work is part of the government system because she is a teacher in elementary school.
I was so scared when the gov of nunavut got hacked and we didn't rely on the pay thingy for a few months and we have to use good old checks instead *(Or at least what I heard, but i don't know. i forgot how she got paid during the shutdown)*.
and the school computers had no internet, and we have to do something like microsoft paint or the google dinosaur jumping game while the work is done.
How often are attacks like this happening in Nunavut and NWT???
Thank you for doing that.
An initiative that deserves encouragement
