I wish you'd show more of the commonly used user interfaces - EPG and channel info. One of the most important things in a TV is how responsive it is when browsing through the EPG and changing channels.
I'll add it to my list of things, I try and keep a bit of a balance with video length as well
Got this tv in 32k INR from Flipkart. Sound quality is really good, Picture quality is good.Upscaling of sd channels is quite impressive.

how do you know what connection cable to use? I have cable so do I use the cable RF? Im pretty sure the last RF cable I had only had a pin on one end but I cant d=find anything like that. Its so confusing and there is nothing on the LG site or pretty much friggin anywhere that gives clarity on what kind of cable to use.
Normal rf cable goes in the aerial socket, satellite or cable connection goes to the sat connection

I see this only has 2.0 out but says 5.0 bluetooth, so if my 5.1 system has Bluetooth, I'll have full use of 5.1?
Hi Jeremy, connect your new system via the hdmi arc ports and in the tv sound setting set the hdmi audio to dolby digital and you should get 5.1 surround sound as long as what your watching is 5.1 content

It's just the quality / amount of pixels. It is not a feature, you don't turn it on or off.
automatic depends on the video you are watching. If youtube, you select 4k for example.

just got one today, i am sure it is not the same year since it came with a magic remote and the box look different, and the one i have just seems to be better packaged since the items came in a sealed tray and that was nice, but i must say, the magic remote is grand, maybe it was the 2020 model ? how can i know ? but i am sure the 2021 model has the sticker on it.

Please Help Dan. I have just switched the tv on for the first time. No Netflix on the LG App Store on the TV and pressing Netflix button on remote does nothing. Disney + plays for 2 seconds and then crashes. Having a nightmare with this Tv. Wouldn’t have bought if I had known it didn’t have the Smart Remote. Not happy🤨

Have you got the correct foot on the correct side?
The feet on mine are a bit wobbly too. Must be a design issue. I have used anti tip straps on the back of mine to prevent it falling over

just ordered one of these, then found it it has no headphone socket (really, LG?) as i like to use headphones at night so i don't disturb the neighbours so i've also had to order a cheap DAC with a headphone out socket.

Depends, it will only support 4k 60 not 120fps.. if you're coming from a 1080p TV then sure.. if you just game and don't watch TV or movies then I'd recommend a monitor. If not this TV is worth it.

I had an LG phone bought before I knew what was what with mobiles and it was a great phone which Ihad for about two years before one day just dying. When I had LG on my radar everybody said their TV's were really good so I bought one which blue screened and then grey screened in just a few weeks so was replaced with a different LG which then within weeks had some serious Pixel Burn so I changed to a Samsung which has been faultless since. In fact I liked it so much I asked for a mother of all TV's for my Man Cave conversion at home. I am not normally a brand snob or loyal to a brand I just do my research and get the best for what I am looking for but after failing Twice on me I no longer consider LG but in fairness I do the same with Panasonic after failing in less than reasonable time as well but as always Dan a great informative vid sir.

Yesterday i purchased a store display model, the 2022 version. I must say that comparing it to my father-in-laws Samsung Crystal 4k, he has the better picture quality. Im not overly impressed with the LG picture. With people on the screen, the samsung really does make you feel that they are in the room with you. The LG lacks real clarity.
Update: I'm about 1 month in to using this tv and to be honest and rather blunt, it is SHIT!!
4k picture is not much better than HD. The filmmaker mode is way too dark and the vivid is sickening saturated with unrealistic colouring.
The sound can be good but the volume keeps changing throughout movie watching. One minute it is quiet then the volume increases.
I know it is the base level model that LG do but I was expecting better quality.
The reviews I read when doing research before buying a new tv were really positive.
I'm hoping I can return the tv to store.
I'd rather pay a little extra for something better.
