1951 Chevy 3600 Pickup project. Part 1

My newest project, you saw in my last update video. Here is part one of the restoration. Longest video ive ever uploaded, just over 30 minutes. It covers from the pickup, to where im at as of right now(1-1-2014) Any suggestions or questions are appreciated. Its going to have 1978 chev c10 ifs, and rear diff, also a few other pieces from that truck chassis as well. Its going to "hopefully" have a big block in it, but def a v8. auto trans, not lowering it. will sit just a bit higher than factory, but thats the look we are going for here. lots of custom interior, gonna box the frame front to back, update/modernize brakes, make it tough enough to use every day, and pretty enough to take to the show and get the looks. everyone has seen a lowered 3100, but how many 3600 trucks do you see? stick around to see progress on it. hoping to have it sold by the end of summer.....

I would have liked to see you leave it a stick, perhaps a modern 6 speed transmission but still a stick shift. However, I do like the fact you didn't lower it. Beautiful job!

I'm going back to basics with my next truck. I refuse to pay 50,000 for a new truck you cant work on and is a pos in 10 years. Nice truck bro! I want like a 1954-1959 chevy with a napco 4x4 maybe if i can find it

They are 3/4 ton pickups

I hope it stays bone stock, It was one of these i learned to shift a standard when I was 11 years old, back in1964
