I remember when I dropped $85 on a Bushnell telescope back in 2001 without expecting much more than being able to check out the Moon. One night I aimed at Jupiter and instantly saw the Red Spot and all four Gallilean Moons. Life-changing moment.
I'm fascinated by the differences in size and atmosphere between these two celestial bodies. It really puts into perspective the diversity of our universe.

Humanity is spreading and getting higher so rapidly, that we will eventually drive ourselves to extinction by knocking out so many animals and crops. The title of this video is inaccurate. Just clips put together from their other videos. Only a couple of them talk about planets in our solar system.
So is alot of the content. For example the highest mountain is on Mars not Venus .

Actually, there's evidence that a lot of species of ants are complete autonomic. You can take any two ants from the same genetic strain, and they'll show zero variation in problem solving. There might be a consciousness in there, but it's just along for the ride. Scary thought, no?

A humble observation. Commentators on this and other matters, speak of "our galaxy", "our solar system" or "our universe", as though 'we' made, own, and control all of them. When in fact, we own and can own, nothing of this universe.
Perhaps a less bombastic, and more realistic degree of humility, might be advisable going forward?
