0:47 - he just low key revealed the truth; if you ugly or you need a ton of makeup- don’t even try. On point.

Straight up savage. " It's very important to have a very good makeup artist and also a beautiful face to photograph." So yeah....If you're ugly it won't work out. LOL.
Lol Beauty is subjective anyways.

Really short and informative, really liked your demo on the grid degrees, I personally didn't know how the effects we're until you showed them, though would have love to see the grid's lighting effects on the model too. Keep it up!

Patrick hi! thank you for taking the time to share this technique. you mentioned your speedotron lights - what size modifier fits the profoto light? cheers! ps I think you’re using 7” grids?
Best video ever that truly helped me!Could you please tell me how to find those collapsable bars that hold the light instead usual stands that I suffer to hide from camera therefore I can't aim the perfect angles?Thank you!
Great video Patrick! If you can only buy 1 beauty dish, would you still go with white or silver one and why? Thanks!
C’est superbe!
Thanks from KALAADRISHTI STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY
awesome tutorial, love it
Thank you!!!
Great work!
this was very useful! Thank you!
Educative video....How did you connect your camera to your system, that it was displaying as you shoot?
Giving you a boost on comments and subscription.
Thank you very much!!!
So informative video, thank you! What size you recommend for the beauty dish? Is 41 cm enough?
Nice video but why did you mention shutter speed when taking the metered readings?
Greetings from Melbourne, Australia Patrick, Outstanding images & video. May I ask what the brand/colour of your seamless background is ? I would be most grateful !
Do you do any tutorial on editing pictures?
Thank u
Awesome tips... great work man
Thanks a lot!!!
I'm a beginner and learning this all. THis video was very helpful. Thank you. What is that thing you head up to your face? You called it a reader. What is it and what does it read?
Light meter. Measures amount of light hitting models face, allows for correct camera exposure setting without the need to go through multiple test shots tha6 only take session time and tire the model.
So does the beauty dish act as a hair light as well
Great stuff!
Thank You!
do you recommend a light meter, especially for beginner photographers?
Would love to see the retouching done to those images.
Can you have a beauty dish be so close that is just outside the field of view of the composition?
What lens did you use for those shots
What lens did you shoot with
What color backdrop is that from savage?
Question how are you not getting a shadow
I have a 16 inch beauty dish and I get harsh shadow on my background
Do you offer tutorials in Toronto? I am based in Toronto :D
Nice! @maniaaclick
Thanks!
You cannot do this without a c-stand and that thing costs more than my flash, umbrella and reflector together. Could have mentioned this xD
Who is retoucher???
Just wasted my time
I really enjoyed this. Great video.
Thank you!
