I stopped the video and immediately signed up for your class. I’m an experienced quilter…but I can always learn something new from you! Can’t wait. Connie
Can't wait to see your Swell progress! I have a grey background Little Town quilt kit that I STILL didn't get around to doing this year! Would love to see the rest of Chelsi's unfinished quilt tops in 2025! Always look forward to the holiday podcasts you do and the new year's goals one too! ❤️
Chelsie and her bindings! Hahaha! 😂 It's a real thing! I do the same thing! And actually this past week I pulled out all my quilts that need bindings. I cut and sewed all the bindings for them. I have machine and hand sewed the binding on a table runner so far (started small lol) Feeling accomplished one quilt at a time! Have a great holiday season!🎄🎄 Love that quilt on the wall!🩷
I use Cuddle on the back of 98% of my quilts, because I live in Western New York and we have very cold winters. Cuddle is similar to Fireside, it’s just made by a different manufacturer. I have had no problem using cotton on the quilt top and Cuddle on the back. I use Best Press when ironing my fabric before cutting out my pieces, and I only use quality quilting fabric. Moda is my favorite! I always wash my quilts as soon as I am done binding them, and they look beautiful. I always use Color Catchers in the first few washes..
Hi Sherri and Chelsi! Thank you so much for amazing content and making the drive to work more enjoyable! I was hoping to go to your retreat but I logged in too late. Congratulations on selling out 2 retreats in less than 12 hours and filling all waitlist spots too! Hoping you will do this again in the future! I would recommend coming to sunny Florida!
I live in Australia 🇦🇺, it’s actually NOT so hard to find a longarm quilter ! ! ! I followed one on instagram, she’s in Queensland. . . , eventually I decided to post a quilt to her. Turnaround time was just two weeks from dropping my quilt off at my post office. . . , to the parcel arriving at my door. 💕 Now she’s my Go-To Longarmer whenever I don’t feel like quilting on my JUKI domestic machine.
II would be great to see a sample of Sherry’s curling iron cover bags. Also would love reprint of Swell Christmas panel. I gave my finished quilt to my daughter and she used it as the set backdrop for their family Christmas photo. Now I want to make more!
I love quilt house patterns. I know you have made a few. On thing that i have looked for i fabrics with different doors on. How nice would it be to make a fabric with lots of different styles and colours of doors going from Victorian to modern days. If anyone knows of any already, i would be grateful if you could let me know. ❤🎉😊
This was my year to do dmsll or fjnish some UFO. Ive done about 33 projects 5 were good size quilts others throw or baby or table runners. Next year i have a double wedding ring quilt queen size for my daughter will start 2025
Sherri, you mentioned having a Kindle. Do you have a pattern for keeping your Kindle in? My daughter has requested one for Christmas and I have been having trouble finding the one that she wants. She wants to open one on the side, not the top.
It's called "Swell Christmas" by Urban Chiks. It will be ridiculously expensive, if you can even find it. It's from about 6 years ago. The latest Christmas quilt fabric line by them is "Kitty Christmas". All have a kind of retro, 1950s-1960s vibe.
Would you mind telling me the name of the log cabin quilt pattern featured on the top wrung of the quilt ladder? I looked in the Etsy stores and could not find it. Thanks!
Good morning, We enjoy your show. We saw that lovely quilt from the Australain lady, and how she has trouble finding a quilter. We would love to quilt it for her., as we are long arm quilters and live in South Australia. If she wants to reach out to us at Elite Long Arm Quilting we are here for her.
I am so disappointed. I set my alarm so that I could get into your first session of the quilting retreat. I waited until my time zone which is mountain which is 8 o’clock. And when I hit the link, it said I needed a password. So I wasted a few minutes looking for a password somewhere on this episode, episode 127, and couldn’t find anything and by the time I got back in I’m now on a waiting list. So I’m going to contact eternity quilt events and tell them to take me off of the waiting list because I don’t have the money to wait until the last minute to get a plane ticket. I live on Social Security and I had a plan for being able to come to the retreat, pay for the plane ticket and my hotel, and have a little bit of spending money and now that plan is just all shot. I know it’s not your fault, but I’m just very disappointed and very upset.
Good morning Billy, Chelsi and Sherri! I love waking up to your Monday am !!!!❤❤

If you have any pull at all, please ask Moda to reprint Swell Christmas 💜💜💜💜 I missed out on this as I started my quilting journey later.
I totally agree! It was a super cute fabric line.
I bought a lot of her magic dot. I love this collection and I hope that Moda makes it a basic.
Please share the fish taco recipe! I am excited to see what you guys come out with next year.
Thank you for sharing ❤
Hi from NZ. No decorations or Christmas music before 1st December

I use cuddle on all of my quilts 90 inch or less. It washes awesome! And very snugglely!
I love how you all love and support each other!
Please let us know when you do the swell Christmas Santa, I have the panel and the fabric and want to see what you do.

You must post the recipe for the fish tacos!
Am I able to sign up today with the discount code.
Fun but the fish taco was a tease - can you share the recipe? Enjoy one another over the holidays.
What was the Santa Quilt . I didn’t get it other than google. I am interested in it. Thank you

It was featured in American Patchwork and Quilting a few issues ago
How was the Mac and Cheese recipe you tried out for Thanksgiving?
Chelsi. I can’t open the Etsy for my download. Help😢😢😢😢

Chelsi always looks bored - staring off in space whenever Sherri is talking. . wonder why?
