@@amandaeguale1641 why Nigerian kind, is it because the women wore the gelle? Some Ghanaians like wearing the gelle which in Ghana it's called Duku for preference. So the wedding is purely an Akan ethnic cultural wedding which there are some similarities with the Yoruba wedding. Hope this helped explain the wedding to you.

Ghanaians will import anything it get annoying sometimes, you can't even tell anymore. It will be nice if we stick to ours and rather export ours, it shows weakness to our culture I pray we don't lose our culture.
Ghanaians are very good at copying from Nigeria and about their wedding is Nigeria inspired It's everything, both the hyping, jollof, boys outfit, music in pidgin english and now it's head gears and laces even spraying money it's all Nigeria.
@@patiencepat4256 First of all, If you want to speak about jollof origins, Nigeria shouldn't be in this either, only Senegal and Gambia. Secondly, The males attire, aka Agbada is not only Nigerian. It was spread across West and North Africa by Arab merchants in the 11th and 12th centuries.The money tradition you have mentioned also originated in Poland around the 20th century, so if Nigeria can do it, Ghana can too, because after all, it didn't originate In Nigeria. I will admit the STYLE of the headwrap is the way Nigerians do it (because Nigeria isn't the only African nation that wears head wraps), but to claim that this wedding is a copy of Nigerian culture is saddening. Even the bride had kente patterns on her dress. Also keep in mind, both Ghana and Nigeria are West African nations closely located by each other, so there will obviously be similarities between both cultures.
