Nice array of saws and great crew! The only thing missing was Kenny. I’ve done some jobs like that with a bunch of friends and it’s hard work and fun at the same time.
Kenny and perhaps they could have used the 3120 thumping along idling in the background just for background noise/music or used it to cut Tony's pinched Stihl just for the comedy.
Lovely job. I don't get many trees but I have 2 builders who have done 5 houses between then (one is an old British farmhouse) and they are letting me have all the left over and ripped out wood/timbers/joists/floorboards/untreated hardwood garden sleepers etc. 5 trailer loads so far and still counting. Lots of timber for construction projects on the Farm and lots of firewood too! It's such simple things but brings me joy! I am going to need to set up a larger wood store. Ha ha.

@waynetharp my uncle was very pleased with job when we were done. He asked us to cut down the 2 scraggly pines and he said he would clean them up during the week. We cleaned them up right away while we were there. I grind my chains more like a square grind with my own modifications that I have found to work best. We also talked about doing a video sometime of new chain and my grind comparison.
@bertbrei2950 Ground chains are great if you have clean wood. They don't do so well in dirt. I cut in alot of low land /creek bottoms and the sand/loom that washes up into the bark during floods will dull a ground chain real fast.

Not bad for a bunch of firewood guys, some of those limbed up logs looks like someone might have worked for a tree service at one time.I have found that at times a open face hing cut helps keep the hinge from breaking to soon and keeps the stem on the stump longer.

Your welcome
Thanks Ron!
If Tony gets free wood does that mean his gum order is cancelled? 😁
That was how I paid Tony for helping. His wood isnt dry enough to heat his house for this year.
Yup, no gum for Tony!!!
Husqvarna T540 xp III, that's a very new toy😮
Had some issues with it then the echo had to come out.
@@BertsCustomCuts Any concerning issues? I'm in doubt between buying the new T540 and the T540i battery, and was leaning towards the gas 540
@@Han_YT shortened up gas line on in tank filter and works good now.
Yup, I will use it more soon.
Good to hear!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Tony have a Woodland Mills chipper? I fancy that would have been useful... would have needed 2 tractors, though...🤔... food for thought...👍🪓💪🇦🇺
Yup you’re right I do have a chipper but the decision came down that it was easier to dump it. 👍TCT
Yup, but some times you do not need everything, we got it done.
👍👍👍
Thanks...
Yep...Tony needs WOOD....he's getting older now!!!!.....lol
Ha ha Mitch.
Chris tells me two popsicle sticks and some duct tape should solve my problem 😂TCT
@@TonysCoolTools HAHAHAHAHAHAA....
Yup, he is a mature guy!
Ha!!!
