Baba Lekan Alabi, thank you sir. Ojo ale yin, a dara, E pe fun wa, lo ri erupe alaye. You're absolutely right and correct sir. I was in a primary School, Girls Modern Academy, Keffi, Lagos established by Aunty Ayo Emmanuel the Ajigbeda of Lagos State. General Yakubu Gowon (Go on with one Nigeria), that was how his name was been called then. I was present at his wedding at Christ Church Cathedral, Marina, Lagos. The big Church Cathedral is still standing there. All primary Schools in Nigeria were there in our various uniforms with Nigeria flags in our hands, to honor to the Nigerian Head of State then, getting married to Ms. Victoria Zakari, who then was a nurse as been told by our teachers, telling us, we can all be, we all wanted to be. Thank you Agbaletu, more grace to you sir. We love seeing Baba Lekan Alabi often, as you had addressed.

Thank you Agbaman, Thank you Daddy Chief Lekan Alabi, this is a fantastic interview. Sir, on the test of popularity and with facts available, Chief Adegoke Adelabu never outshined Chief Obafemi Awolowo in western region. Even as at his death in 1958, Awolowo was still a sitting premier in western region, that was beyond Ibadan metropolitan.

Thank you, my comment on the last episode involving this baba is just what i said. Alabi-Isama in his book The Tragedy of victory elaborated everything, with due respect, no one can give a first hand account on Benjamin Adekunle more than Alabi-Isama and Alani Akinrinade, both of them with late Isaac Idaka Boro, Ariyo and some gallant officers were the major players in the 3rd Marine commando. I wish Mr. Dele can locate especially Alabi-Isama, he will get the answer he seeks for.

This is a real fact statement about S.L. Akintola and J.O.Awolowo because most Yorubas called Akintola a betrayal which is not,Awolowo only trying to outsmart Akintola and others Action Group members b4 the war started between 2 of them.Awolowo take all the glory while Akintola name was neglected till today.

Thanks Baba Lekan Alabi, we need you more to give us more information and call our attention to important awareness, What a flash back! There was a saying then “if you Takwa me, I will Dabo you “
Muhammad assassination was bloody, he got waylaid near my secondary school in Ikoyi, school head teacher asked all students to hide under the school desks when gun shots started, we saw the bullet ridden Mercedes Benz car full of blood 🩸, when we were let out of the school in the evening.
Obasanjo is a serpent amongst us all, but he will reap plentifully from his evil deeds before he leaves, he’s such a slanderer, he slagged off Baba Awolowo, he slagged off Abiola an all, like a British drama call “everyone hates Chris” Agba ti ko to Ile ara re ni Obasanjo, he abused his own family to the point that his own children called him horrible names.
    Very horrible man.
Thank you our extra ordinary journalist Dele.😮

Point of correction .In Ibadan, The Late Adelabu was very popular, but in Western Nigeria Awolowo is the man to beat in terms of popularity and achievements. Theres nothing in the fingerprints of Adelabu in ibadan. Even all over western Nigeria till today Awolowos . The television station in ibadan is the No 5 television station in the world. Thats Awolowos greatest achievement. Ibadan had television station before France , portugal. Greece, etc. Only Uk, USA, Germany and Japan. Had television station before ibadan.

  • @olufemiadeleke8438

Adelabu was born in September 1915. And died in march 1958. He was 42 years old. Not 43 as Akogun Lekan Alabi said in the interview.

Obasanjo was born in the family where they worship obaluaye. His father was first to accept Christianity and his father personally laboured to build a church in their village, In fact the Grace Obasanjo enjoys today should be from that effort. He laboured in building that church with his father who had only two children survived from eleven birth or so. He wrote all this in his book

Another point of correction. The coker commission of Inquiry was set up by tafawa balewa in june 1962. Not by ladoke akintola. In june 1962. Akintola was no longer in office because there was state of emergency rule for 6 months. The administrator was the late Moses Majekodunmi. Therefore akintola cannot have set up the panel.

Respect to baba, however, when it comes to the allegations of Adekunle killing soldiers at the war front, he attached emotions and bias to it by just disregarding it as envy even when an eye witness soldier confirmed it on this show before.
