Like cute ideas and staging but as a mom to a 20 yr old daughter who got her own place 6months ago I want to help you find functionality and practicality for a workable kitchen. Candle is going to create soot under the cabinet and going up the door front. Wood behind the sink is going to stay moist and mold.

Mine and my husband's first place together had a tiny kitchen, so I actually bought 2 rolling Carts off of Amazon and that's how I stored my appliances and made one a coffee bar. It helped with space and storage so much! The ones I have have two shelves on the bottom then a big wooden cutting board on top, which could be used as another shelf as well!

You should get suction hooks to hang your cutting boards behind the sink or hooks under the cabinets! Love the tea thingy too..I might need one of those! I love chia teas from India!
Maybe you will luck out and they have to install a new stove/oven. Be sure you tell them about the hood vent not being properly exhausted through the cabinet above it. That should be an easy fix for them. You really don't want any food odors or steam/moisture going into the cabinet when you have stuff in them. 🧡
