so i was delighted to make a flip-through video with less whispering for those folks who have a hard time relaxing/falling asleep with whispering in the bg! this would be perfect for studying or getting work done as well. i’d say going forward for my tracing vids, most of them will be full whispering, but i’ll try to put out a no/minimal talking one every now and then, just for some variety. 😊 i hope that you all enjoy this video!! now to start brainstorming which art book to do next… i still have a handful that i haven’t made “dedicated” videos for (mad max: fury road, breath of the wild, httyd 3, over the garden wall, kubo and the two strings… speaking of i should probably look into ordering a coraline book bc that would be so sick) so you can also let me know if any of those sound good or if you have other ideas. if you can’t tell, i’ve realized i really love making these videos so i’m excited to do more!!

tracing is extremely underrated :/ i feel like it’s hard to find videos with a decent amount of tracing in it. tracing is my absolute favorite and i’m glad i found a whole video dedicated to it

I am a longtime comics fan who has loved that piece of David Mazzucchelli Batman art we see at 13:00 ever since I first saw it in a promotional ad for the Batman: Year One storyline back in 1987. It's so stark, simple, and powerful. Back then I don't think I ever expected to see it being appreciated in as unique a manner as we see here, but who knew then what the future would bring? RUclips? ASMR? In 1987 we would have thought you were having some kind of episode and just making sounds. I don't really tend to experience the tingles myself, but I still find ASMR content relaxing, and this tracing thing is an interesting niche you've found for yourself. Neat video.

Ehh. Yeah Battinsons stuff was a little comic booky but still had that realism shit. Not as much as Nolans movies mind you but Ben Afflecks Batman is still the most "comic booky" you know.

✨ Fun fact: most of the film was filmed in my hometown, Liverpool. Also, in one scene they forgot to edit out one of the bus stops so if you look carefully in one of the scenes, you can see a yellow bus stop in the background.
