Hello Brother, I'm a first year Btech AI&ds student . I'm about to take a very serious and important decision of my life to drop college and prepare for jee to get admitted in iit madras which is my dream college. To be honest I was a very average student at School from 8-12 was getting pass marks in every exams but to some extent during the 12th grades I was lazy and didn't prepare till the very end of my model preparation exams before the ISC board exams. In the model i scored 40% in maths and 36% in physics even my parents lost hope in me, but i said them that i would give my full potential the final exam. So I did gave my best and scored 88 in maths and 89 in physics with honestly just 1 month of preparation, I was so proud of myself... but when it came to the jee preparation my parents were worried that i would again become lazy and wouldn't prepare for it... and so I didn't even get a shot for my dream college. I hope that you'll read this message and help me whether or not to drop college and attempt jee

Iss baat ko mein pura sahi se bata sakta hun . Mera jee mains 2023 mein 87 percentile Aya tha ranks kuchh 1.45 lakh . Obc aur home state ke karan mujhe nitr mein int msc physics mil gaya tha csab round 1 mein . Mein khus tha phir kitne saare family members jo ki actually mein kuchh nahni jaante hain iss branches ke ware mein in logon ne 2010-11 mein jab govt jobs ke liye utni competetion nahni thi tab jaise taise karke govt jobs kar diye hain. Maine 1st class karke cancel kar diya admission. Bcz wo bol rahe the koi tier 3 clg se engineering karne ke liye. But yes mera goal clear nahni tha isiliye Maine unlogon ke baat mein aake mera hard work bekar kar diya. Mera jee mains mein 2024 Jan mein 71 percentile Aya hai bcz my father had admitted for 2 months i.e. October 20-december 20. But jaise taise karke April mein 150 marks kuchh ban jayega lag raha hai . Mein bolna chahta tha ki aapki ek decision aapka life change karne wala hai khaas karke iss types ke decision lene ke time. Kisi ka bhi mat suno . Shirf apni Mann ki baat suno integrated MSc ke logon se aur yadi btech koi clg mein karne ka soch rahe ho un bacho ke saath . And apni goals clear rakho
Ek internship 6th sem ke baad summer me hoti hai 2 months ke liye, Ek internship 8th sem me 6 months ki hoti hai. Jis company me placement hoti hai wahin pe 6 month internship karte hain. So I am placed at this company jahan pe abhi internship kar raha hun.

Sir according to my jee mains 2024 rank Mujhe NIT Tricky me Chemical, civil, production.......etc branch mil raha hai and yahi same branch All nits me bhi include mechanical ( eee, ece top 15 nit me mil raha hai ) and cse nit hamirpur, nit uttarakhand, nit agartala, nit srinagar etc mai kya choose karu mujhe branch ke bare me utna knowledge nahi mai ek poor family se belong karata hu aur mai handicap hu 4 year bad mera achha placement ho jaye to mai kaun sa branch prefer karu cse lower nits ya fir core branch top nits
Bhai nahi ho payega agar aap general, ews obc se hai to 75 % and st, sc se hai 65 % rahana chahiye chahe jee mains me kitna bhi rank rahe nit, iit me admission nahi ho sakta

See maine civil kiya, but core me nahi jana tha so I focussed on finance. I have friends who are in software, from civil. So civil ke core me package kamm hai, but bohot free time milega jisse you can explore other domains too!
