Installation of arch structure | October 2023

Last week #BERERIX installed two more arch feet structures of Riga Central Station!
The installation of the station arch structures is one of the most special events at the RB Rail AS | Rail Baltica Riga Central Hub construction site this autumn. Each structure weighs 65 tonnes and due to their considerable size, a self-propelled modular system was used to transport them around the construction site. In November, we plan to install two more on the south side of the station.
We are happy to see that the contours and the volumes of the new station are becoming clearer and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the process! It was the teamwork that made this process go smoothly!
