Sorry to hear about the rack! But a simple fix is to insert a metal tube snuggled inside the rack tube and try to secure it somehow. Maybe even try to prefab some that will fit securely before the trips. Keep up the good work. All the content is great!

What do you run for GPS? Garmin?
using a tablet running BackCountry Navigator. The tablet is ip67 rated. The little GPS on the left hand is an old hiking Magellan gps as a backup unit to capture the track. Hope this helps.
